Chapter 18 A Big Surprise and Happy Moment

(Just so everyone knows they are still in the house Desean bought, and also George and Matt are cool now. )

Ash'sPOV

It's been about five months since Matt stopped me from killing myself. Things have actually been going great. Matt and I have a date tonight and I was excited. Earlier that day Matt had picked out an outfit for me and wrote done the address of where we are going. I had put the outfit Matt chose on and looked in the mirror. It was a strapless red dress that showed off all of my curves. I also had black heels, a black bracelet and a ruby necklace. I left my hair down and only straightened it. I had on just a little a bit of makeup, cover up, eyeliner, mascara, a light red eye shadow, and red lipstick. I was looking myself over one more time when the phone started ring. I rushed over to the phone and picked it up.

"Hello." I said holding the phone to my ear.

"Hey Ash it's Danny, Matt sent me to pick you up and also said you had the address to the place, anyways I'm outside whenever you're ready to go." Danny said quickly.

"Okay be done in a minute." I said before hanging up.

I grabbed my red clutch and walked down the stairs as fast as I could in six inch heels. I walked out the front door of the house. Danny smiled when he saw me before taking the piece of paper with the address on it out of my hand. We got in the car and Danny started off down the road. After about an half hour we pulled up to some docks that had only one pretty big boat. Too my surprise Matt was standing there with a dozen roses and a box of chocolate. I got out of the car and rushed towards him wrapping him in a hug. Matt looked amazing he had on a tux with a red tie to match my outfit.

"You look stunning." Matt whispered as he held on tighter to me.

"You do to." I mumbled into his neck embracing the moment.

Matt pulled away and held out his hand which I gladly took. He lead me on to the boat, but before we pulled off I turned to see Danny leaning against the car with a smile on his face.

We had been on the boat for about thirty minutes when our dinner got there.

"Here's your food sir." He strangely familiar male voice said.

"Thank you Luke." I heard Matt say and my head snapped up.

There right in front if me was my older brother. I immediately felt tears roll down my face. I jumped up from my seat and hugged him. I felt his strong arms wrap around me. I could tell he was crying also from the way his chest quivered.

"I missed you so much." I whispered at that moment I didn't care that he had abandoned me I was just happy to have him there.

"I missed you too, I also know some other people how have missed you also." He said turning me around.

Standing in the doorway was George and all my younger siblings. Kristen, Hailey, Isaiah, Jamie, and Payton. They had all grown and looked so much older since the last time I had saw them. I walked over to them and opened my arms. They all rushed to me wrapping me in a huge family hug, I noticed Luke had joined too. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Matt and George standing there smiling.

At this point we had docked again and everyone but me and Matt were on the boat. We sat watching the night sky wrapped in each others arms.

"Thank you for everything you've done for me. I said out of no where looking up at Matt.

"It's really no problem." He said looking down at me and kissing my forehead.

"No seriously you've done so much for me there is no way I could repay you." I said back.

"Actually.." Matt said as he pulled away from me.

Matt dug into his pocket and after a few moments pulled out a little black box. Immediately my heart rate picked up. Tears filled my eyes and I covered my mouth with both hands as Matt got down on one knee.

"Ashley Marie Delgrosso, we have been through so much together and I can honestly say that I love you with all my heart. I would have asked your dad for permission to be doing this but since his not with us any longer I tracked down your older brother and asked him. He said he would love to have me as a brother-in-law...so Ash would you please marry me?" Matt asked popping open the box to revile a beautiful diamond ring.
