VIRUSHKA - REDEFINITION OF LOVE

UNDERSTANDING THE FEELINGS.

A/n

do read the meanings given at the end if you have a problem. Let me know if you still don't get it. I will make it clear in another upadate. This is a small update but I gave my best to this one. It was quite difficult to put in words the feelings I felt Anushka should go through and the battle b/w her heart and brain.

Third person's pov

Her eyes roamed in search of that one man who could answet all her queries , though still not very clear with her feelings.

She could feel that he was here around her. Not his presence but her conscience told her.

She was eager to confess her feelings. To know his. To know if their friendship could reach a step ahead. To know if she really loved him.

Mind dominating heart. Mind said "you are attracted to him. You don't love him. "
Heart argued " No it is love. Don't miss a golden opurtunity. Give it a try. " . " It has been only 4 days you met him. You can't fall for him so early. He will ask you to leave acting. He will dominate you. You will regret saying yes to him. " this time brain gave a hard slap to heart silencing it.

Her heart stopped pumping for a moment. That is what she felt. It started on a slow pace once again.

Eyes closed , random thoughts dominating her mind , disturbed heart beat and clash of clans going on between her mind & heart ; Anushka heard a soft knock on the door.

Her conscience did the job for her by telling it was Virat at the door.

A small satisfactory smile crept up her lips as he came near her and sat on the stool.

Caught you , didn't I her heart ticked. " You fell in my trap. I am expert at this you know. Many have fallen for in this trap you too had to. How can you not ? " heart sarcastically spoke " No Anushka , don't fall for the trap. How can a fist sized heart trap me. The Brain. Huh?!." " Does it matter who I am ? I am the poor animal , the it goat who has already fed upon 9 lions. You were next. Doomed. Mission complete. " heart mocked. 

The brain stepped back at this and heart took over the charge.

Finally after that one hell of struggling about her feelings she went by her heart but use her senses calmly. 

She slowly opened her eyes and turned her head towards Virat.

He smiled at her.

She smiled back. 

None of them knew what to speak.

"Hi " she spoke up trying to reduce the awkwardness.

" Hey you okay?  " he asked concerned

"Yeah I guess ! How 's all going ? "

" It was pretty good until you decided to show this stunt of yours. " he laughed.

She chuckled "how does that matter to you?  I mean we are friends but did we get that close to ...um..."

He was tongue tied 😛😛
He did not know what to speak.

" Virat we need to talk " she spoke ready to face the truth.

A/n

The lines  in bold is nothing but a convo b/w heart and mind.
Her mind tells her to avoid the situation while the heart says exactly the opposite.

 
What will happen ? Will they confess their feelings or no  ?
