VIRUSHKA - REDEFINITION OF LOVE

Guys it's a small chappy again. Bit I have done full justice to it , I believe.

"Virat need to talk " Anushka said a bit unsure and extremely choosy of the words but in a steady tone.

" Yeah ! I offcourse did not come to see ur face the whole day. We will talk. I have need answers to many questions but you first " he spoke breathless.  Tone a bit cold , for no reason but not rude too.

He was surprised. Though in a vulnerable state she didnot flinch a bit at the harsh tone. She looked directly into his orbs.

" I know " she said softly. " don't expect either. "

"Well, what is that you wish to talk. " he asked with a hint of hope in his eyes. 

He wanted her to confess.

She wished to confront.

And did exactly that. 

Not bugging around the bush ,  she directly hit the fishes eye just like Arjun in Mahabhrat.

Virat the fish and Anushka's question  the arrow.

" Have you ever fallen in love ? " was her question. 

Not actually.

It was that bullet which directly hit the target's weak point making him go numb. 

He was clearly tounge tied at the question.

Sweat beads formed on his forehead.

She felt a tinge of jealousy in her by the close proximity of the sweat beads and him. 😡

A sudden urge to wipe those off his body arouse her but she did not let her feelings affect  her exterior.

When he was at lack of words , he rolled his eyes at her.

" Rolling your eyes will not answer my query " she shot bluntly.

His forehead lined with confusion. Looking at her he knew she was in no mood to joke.

He fumbled .

She smirked seeing his bewilderment.

He probably wanted to play around with her. " Ya. I am in love with my one of friends you know. " he said. Trying to figure if she was jealous. 

Perks of being an actor as they say .

There was no ounce of disappointment on her face , but her heart bled.

How dare he say. He should love me.

She wanted to say. But kept her cool.

She hummed in response. Looked into his eyes again.

His eyes were attracting but hers were infectious.

Once you look into them you may not be easily able to come out of it.

She was like the digestive liquid of the pitcher plant in which once trapped there is no backing out.

The same happened to Virat. He accidently did the mistake of looking into her eyes in a way he shouldn't  when he watched Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

And that is it. The fly fell into spider's trap.

Neither could he avoid nor keep staring. Only one option was left. 

Drowning. Drowning into those hazel brown orbs.

He drowned himself to explore the feeling.

Goosebumps had arised on his entire body at the feeling.

Heart beat rose dangerously , pupil dialated  and skin was on fire every time he saw her after that day.

Yes , he liked her ever since her debut. 

Love. It was different.

And now , he was breathless even though he was a few inches away from her.

He first thought it to be crush but soon realised it was more.

He realised her eyes were becoming his weakness. 

Anushka noticed his changing  expressions , his goosebumps and unsteady  breaths.

She smirked at the effect she had on him.

Though he looked into her eyes while saying the above statement , he was lost.

Anushka being Anushka , was clever enough to understand he wasn't speaking the full truth.

She went a step ahead of him. She gave out a dry chuckle. " Won't you ask the reason I asked this question to you ? "

".Oh yeah! Why?" he asked curious to know the reason.

A part of him wanted it to be her realisation of love for him.

But what she said was shocking for him.
