"Do I have to sit in the middle again?" I asked Michael and Luke who of course were deciding I should be in the middle because they wanted to be beside me, which is complete bullshit.

"Pleaaasee, we both really wanna sit beside yoouu." Luke whined, using his most convincing voice, which wasn't very convincing.

"That's bullshit, you guys just don't wanna sit in the middle." I groaned as I slid in the car as Michael followed behind me.

"Love yoouu." Michael sang putting his head in the crook of my neck.

"Hate yoouu." I sang back pushing him off me.

So yeah, we were leaving clear lake sadly, but we just decided we were gonna stop in a little town about an hour away called Vermillion and book two motel rooms.

Wasn't really excited for the shitty motel but whatever, I didn't really feel like sleeping in a car again.

"How about this restaurant, it actually looks really good." Ashton said as he parked in the restaurant parking lot. "Yeah?" He turned around and looked at us in the backseat.

"Sure.." I agreed unbuckling my seatbelt looking at Michael eyeing him to open the door and get out. "Are you gonna get out, orr nah?"

"Nope." He pushed back a smile.

"No?"

"That's what I said."

I just glared at him for a few seconds then looked over at Luke.

"Luke, will you be so kind as to get out of the car?" I asked clearing my throat. He looked over at Michael and then back to me, I widened my eyes as a threat, and in no time he was out of the car.

We walked into the restaurant me first, then Luke and Michael following. We met Ashton and Calum who had already gotten a booth.

"What took you so long?" Calum asked tilting his head.

"We had a little.. Disagreement." I stated pointing over to Michael.

Calum just nodded and we all ordered our food, which was surprisingly good for a little town.

After we had finished eating and chatting we all decided to go find this certain motel room we could find, we still weren't sure if we were gonna have a motel or hotel. Hotel sounded nicer, but motels are cheaper.

We drove down for a while and we actually decided we'd all pitch in on two hotel rooms, each with two beds. Me and Michael in one, and Calum, Ashton, and Luke in another.

"Let's order pizza for late night snack, yeah?" Calum asked breaking the silence as we all played on our phones. We all looked up from our phones and nodded, Calum then turning on the tv.

"Asshh?" Calum sang. "Can we rent a movie?" He pouted his lip and squinted his eyes.

"Sure just not anything crappy." He slightly giggled putting his attention back to his phone.

"Riley come help me pick." He smiled patting the side of the bed that was empty.

I walked over and poked Calum on the nose, sitting down causing him to giggle.

"Is mean girls on there?" Luke questioned, getting excited.

"No Luke they only have newer movies, sorry." I patted his head, and he immediately went to check if his hair was okay.

"Don't mess the do, Ri." He glared walking back and sitting in his original spot on the floor.

We decided to watch Godzilla, and ordered a large Hawaiian pizza, which was godly may I add. After that me and Michael went to our room and let the boys sleep, including Calum who fell asleep beside me before an hour of the movie was done.

It was nearly 2am and I still wasn't asleep, not surpising I guess, when I heard a knock at our hotel door. I got up and trudged to the door, wondering who could possibly need something at this time. I opened the door to meet Luke.

"Yes?" I asked not to pleased with him being here.

"Let's go for a walk." He spun on his heals and began walking down the hall.

"Wait!" I called in a whisper. "Let me put on some pants, I'll get ate by Mosquitos." I pointed to my loose shorts. He nodded and I shuffled over to my bag, pulling out some sweats and a band t-shirt, and turned around to see Luke in the doorway. I spun my finger in a circle, signifying I wanted him to turn around.

"Is something wrong with your finger?" He asked, careful not to wake Mikey up.

I sighed and went around a corner, getting ready to change, until Luke came back around the corner.

"Luke Hemmings!" I squealed, still in a hush tone.

"Riley Radke!" He mocked.

"Get out."

"Why?"

"Because I'm taking my pants off!" I pushed my hands onto his chest trying to push him out of the room.

"Maybe I wanted to watch." He pouted, tearing my hands off his chest and stomping out of the room.

I changed into the new set of clothes quickly and l went to meet Luke outside.

"I like your hair up." He stated looking over at a tree.

"Okay then, thank you?" I looked at him wiggling on my heels a little. I looked over at the tree he was looking at and gasped, it was so beautiful. The core was thick, pulling up into a great amount of little branches, with of course a ton of leaves. And since the time of the year was early June, there were tiny pink petals falling off, and in the grass. With the light shining on it it almost looked heavenly, as if god had planted it with his own hands. The street light from the back of it also made a beautiful shadow of the tree, and you could also see it peering through the leaves.

"Dayum, that's pretty." I gawked walking over to a light pole and spinning on it.

"I know right?" Luke grabbed underneath where my hand was held on and started spinning as well. I giggled at the sight and continued to stare, interrupted by the direction I was forced to face. I abruptly stopped, and Luke crashed into my back causing him to fall backwards.

"Really?" I giggled at him again turning around and helping him up.

"Sorry, sorry. . Really sorry." He scratched the back of his head, I had never actually seen him this nervous, and I didn't know why he was.

"It's fine Luke." I said pulling out my iPhone and turning it on, to see I had texts from Emma.

I laughed at the many times she had texted me and decided to text her back and tell her that we were in fact in Vermillion and that she could come.
