"So uhm, how's Megan?" I asked rolling my eyes in disgust, I didn't have anything wrong with Megan. Well I did, that's why I hated her, but I'm sure if she wasn't so rude I wouldn't have a problem with her.

"Oh just great." She piped in the same tone as me, looking down at her nails.

"She done anything else? Like maybe on the ride home?" I grabbed her hand looking at her newly done nails as well.

"She told me I wasn't allowed to read." I raised my eyebrow dropping her hand. "I was trying to read An Abundance of Katherine's and she told me I had to pay attention to her, and wasn't allowed to read. Or listen to music."

"She's great." I groaned.

"Tell me about it." She got up walking over to Mikey's iphone dock and placing her phone on the charger and lightly playing some blink 182 as Michael, Luke and Calum ran in the room and started singing along, highly louder than the music itself.

I looked over at Emma and she was smiling. I nudged her and gave her a sly smile starting to sing along, her joining a bit after.

Calum strutted over to me as Luke did Emma, as they had bonded a lot over the two hours they had known each other and already became friends.

They both bowed down and put their hands out asking to dance, I looked at Emma and she looked at me, us both shrugging we got up and danced with them. Cheesy dancing, but fun dancing.

The song ended and we all whined Emma walking over to her phone and picking some Arctic Monkeys this time, Ashton joining Michael to dance and me and Emma staying with Luke and Calum.

Calum and I swayed back and forth never breaking eye contact from one another. I took in all of Calum, all of the little things I never appreciated about him. Sure I wasn't with him but that doesn't mean I can't admire him as my crush on him continues.

'Crush'

Calum giggled slightly and leaned into my ear. "You really are beautiful." I put my head down and shook it, looking up to see him nodding in disagreement. I brushed it off, even though I was still flustered by the fact he had called me beautiful, but I didn't want to 'argue' about it more.

The song ended and it shuffled to some pop music, me and Calum sitting down as Luke and Emmy went outside.

Emma;

Me and Luke sat silently on the bench swaying our feet back and forth under it, kicking the dirt forward a little. It wasn't an awkward silence, but a comforting one.

"So who are you?" Luke asked looking up from the ground and now directly at me. More like through me like he was trying to figure me out, but I wasn't a puzzle.

Giggling I kicked my feet off of each other before answering him. "Well, I'm Emma-

"No. Like who are you?" He asked again smiling now. I shrugged not really knowing what to say, I mean i'm not all that special. Maybe I have a few things to spill but nothing really important.

"I honestly don't know how to respond to that."

"C'mon there has to be something you can tell me, how about 21 questions.." He trailed off his cheeks heating up, I wondered why but I think he just felt embarrassed.

"Sure, but i'm going first. What's your favourite colour?" He giggled at my very 'original' question.

"Blue and black. Now... Um- what's your favourite band?" He sounded unsure. I was so bad at this game..

"Nirvana. Blink 182. & Arctic Monkeys. I also really like Miley Cyrus." I giggled my cheeks heating up probably making me look like a chubby tomato.

"Same." He paused to smile looking down before he continued. "Your turn."

"Why'd we even come out here?" I laughed nudging his side with my elbow glancing up into his eyes biting my lip.

"I don't know, I kind of just wanted to be alone. I mean usually I love staying with the guys but i'm actually really happy to be around you and I just wanted to get away."

"I know that feeling." I smiled. He frowned and I think it was partially because he didn't notice I was talking about him.

"With who?"

"You, idiot."

"Umm, ruuuude." He joked. I actually was really happy to be around him, not in the 'Omg he's so hot I love him' kind of way. Just that he makes me happy for no apparent reason pretty much and I just liked being around him.

"Let's go make sure Riley and Calum aren't flick flacking yeah?" Luke hopped off the bench.

"Yeah." I laughed and his hand brushed mine.
