࿇ ═━━✥◈✥━━═ ࿇Upon sitting down next to the stranger, Jungkook nervously began rubbing his sweaty palms against his jeans - immediately regretting his decision. He felt quite awkward and out of place to say the least, considering all of the chairs around the two were empty - the closet person to the them being 8 seats away.
He didn't even know why he chose to sit in the specific spot that he did, since, he was quite a shy person who wasn't the best at socializing, and not only that, but there were obviously plenty of other seats available, leaving really no reason for him to sit that close.
And to make things even more awkward, Jungkook knew that the teen probably already had the first impression that he was a weirdo for having the ringtone that he did, and probably didn't want to be anywhere near him.
But it was too late now. he had already sat down and wasn't about to make things even more awkward by switching spots. so he took in a deep breath and glanced over at the stranger to see if his expression would give away what he was thinking, but it didn't. In fact, his face didn't show any emotion whatsoever.
the teen sat there with his arms crossed, staring down at the hardwood floor. he hadn't even acknowledged that Jungkook had sat down beside him, and certainly didn't look like he was interested in doing so anytime soon.
Jungkook felt sort of relieved that the stranger wasn't giving him any weird looks, but he couldn't help but wonder why he didn't even bother to glance over at least once, since, it was only human nature to be curious who had sat next to them. but it didn't seem like this was the case with him.
but, while the stranger seemed to have no interest in Jungkook, Jungkook was quite the opposite and seemed to have a whole lot of interest in him. where most people would have taken a quick one-second glance at the person next to them, jungkook went far and beyond that-his eyes practically glued to the side of the stranger's face.
it wasn't like the teen to stare at someone for as long as he was, but, he couldn't help but notice how perfect the male's facial features were, and actually found it quite hard to take his eyes off of him. between his soft-looking eyes, plump lips, his strong, masculine jawline, and his perfectly shaped nose, he was very appealing to the eye-looking as if he had been sculpted by an artist.
but his attractiveness didn't stop there, no. in fact, the thing that stood out most to the teen was what made everything else stand out about him-the male's perfectly smooth, tanned skin and gorgeously matched dark-chocolate brown hair. even his one 'imperfection' that he spotted was cute-a tiny mole that sat at the tip of his nose.
jungkook sighed quietly.
the stranger's drop dead good looks left the teen feeling even more self conscious about himself. feeling as though he was sitting in a museum next to a piece of fine art-art that everyone was dying to get a glimpse at-whereas he was a piece of modern 'art' that looked to be done by a 3 year old-a piece of scrambled up junk that no one would even bother to take a second glance at...well maybe out of pity.
"Jungkook?"
...
"Jungkooook."
...
Jungkook flinched when he felt something hit him directly in the forehead-bringing him back back to reality. he lifts his hand up and touches his forehead that was sticky with something, then looks down at a glazed donut that was sitting in his lap. he picks it up and looks up in confusion. "what the-"
