"Hey Alex" - mason says with an unspoken feeling in his voice
"Don't hey me " I whisper yell
"Look I'm sorry I - " I cut him off
" Maybe you should have thought about that before you let me go " with that I march up the stairs forgetting all about the milk . I got to bed as  silent tears fall down my cheeks guess I'm not over mason after all

I woke up to screaming and video game sounds from downstairs.
" WHAT THE FUCK WHY'D YOU KILL ME " I hear Caleb's voice from downstairs then I hear loud chuckles to loud to be just one person .
Since I know I won't be able to fall back to sleep anytime soon I decide to head downstairs for my morning coffee and to check up with my patients.
I hear my phone ringing , and know it's work because of the ring tone so I answer
" Hello doctor Alex Anderson ........ okay keep me posted with him and tell him I'll be back soon to check on him ."
I look up to see my brother and his whole crew
of friend  from high school staring at me
( Mason , Connor  , Braxton , and Bryan )
" fuck Alex you look hot " says Braxton which results in a glare from mason and a slap in the head from Caleb
" more like doctor Alex "  Connor chuckles
" Yo ! sis who was that ?" Caleb asks me
" Just a nurse updating me on my favorite patient." I giggle thinking about my eight year old patient Maxon
" let he guess Maxon " Caleb replys
I laugh " yeah Maxon ."
"Hey Alex , why don't you join us in the living room and we can all check up " the boys ask
" sure just leave your flirting were you picked up from ." I joke
" So hows the last FIVE years been "  Bryan ask I can see mason  looking at me from the corner of my eye
" pretty great so far I'm 23 now  and I live a couple state over in Ohio ." I tell them
" What do you do with all your money " I think Braxton asks
I blush and look down " oh nothing really "
" Don't be modest . She does a lot for us . She's paid off this house , paid all my parents and I's Debt off , bought ma , pops  and me our dream cars , started college bank accounts for our future kids, and she sends mom and dad money every few weeks for anything they might need " Caleb says and smiles proudly
"Holy fuck " they breath out with dropped jaws
" No big deal . Okay breakfast on me in 40 minuets be ready . " I call to them on my way up the stairs . After showering and getting dressed I walk down stairs
" Okay people , lets go " I yell out in my doctor voice
" Yeah people , let go doctor's orders " Conner  chuckled
laughing at the joke like the other I step out the door with the boys hot on my heels .
