" How .... what ? "I stammer out confused by what I'm hearing
" About a week after you left, he came over looking as gloomy as he had the whole week and I finally pried it out of him . I then beat his ass " he chuckles out
" ..... but he cheated " I mumble as my eyes start to water
he pulls me into one of his famous brotherly hugs .
" Did you let him explain ? " he asks matter-of-factly
" no " I stammer out
"look ,its not my story to tell , but I can say that he didn't cheat . He loves that little girl as much as he does you "
with that I blush out my next response " well , what do I do now " i ask fearing I had lost mason .
" you call him " he states in a duh tone
" WHAT ? NO ! I CANT DO THAT " I tell him
" to late he's on his way " with that last response he quickly leaves slamming the door
there's only one thing I can do I thought to myself in the ten minutes I waited " Drink wine " and with that i chugged the rest of my glass as the doorbell rang .
" Coming" I shout out as I slowly walk to the door and look through the peep hole only to see the person my heart years for with a determined expression on his face .
