Liar
The lies leave a bad taste in my mouth
All those words wasted
Just to save the sorry web
I've trapped myself inLiar
The sin of a thousand deceitful phrases
Weighing me
Pulling me into that black abyssLiar
These half-truths formed as a shield
Boxing me into this semblance of someone I'm not
Sticking me in this infernal costumeLiar
At what cost do these words come
Hateful
Deceiving
Tricking the people closest
Who hold me upLiar.
