Chapter 1: Weird Dreams

Chapter 1

Lucy's POV

  "NO!" I yelled which caused me to fall off the bed. Groaning, i gently rubbed my back which made impact to the floor. That was the hardest fall yet.

  What's up with me? I'm always having the same dream over and over again. And i will always end up waking and hitting the floor. Its been the same routine for a week now and its starting to bother me. Not because i always ended up hitting the floor or whatever, what's really bothering is the dream itself.

~Flashback~ My dream
  A 9 year old Lucy was running around the garden of their humongous palace. She was making a crown made from flowers and she will give it to her mom. She even made another one for herself. Upon finishing, she ran inside the palace and made her way to her mother's ward. She entered the room and approached her mother who was sleeping soundly on her bed.

  Little Lucy slowly approached her mother. She climbed on her bed and gently shook her sleeping mother.

  "Mama, wake up." Little Lucy said which caused her mother to wake up.

  "Good Morning, Princess Lucilyn." Layla said.

  "Good morning too, Mama. And look i made a crown for you since your the queen of the palace of the Stars." Little Lucy said.

  "How sweet of you, Lucilyn." Layla said. She took the flower crown that Lucy was giving to her and she wore it with a smile flastered on her face.

  "And i made one for myself, since i'm the princess. Right mama?" Little Lucy said.

  "Yes, Lucilyn. You are the Princess of this palace. You're the next heiress and soon you're powers will awaken and you will be as strong as mama, even stronger. Do you want that?" Layla asked her daughter.

  "Yes, mama. I wanna be like you when i grow up." Little Lucy stated.

  "That's good, Lucilyn. But always remember that i will always be here for you. You will face difficult challenges in the future and please, don't give up. I love you, Lucilyn and i hope you'll forgive me." Layla said.

~End of FlashBack~ Dream Ended

  And then it will end like that. Is it possible that its a memory? But i don't recall anything like that happen. Even the palace isn't familiar to me. But i'm sure that the little girl is me and the older woman is mama. But why is she calling me Lucilyn? And what powers is she talking about? So many questions are lingering on my mind now. Maybe a little trip to the guild will take my mind off this things.

  I took a warm bath and got dressed. I'm wearing a white and blue blouse with a blue skirt. My keys and whip is attached on my belt. I wore boots and my hair is styled on a side ponytail. I exited my apartment and walked to the familiar path to Fairy Tail. After some time, i finally reached the guild. But something felt not right, like something's bad gonna happen.

  I just shrugged it off for everything seems out of place since Lisanna came back 5 months ago. Everyone seems to avoid and ignore me since she returned. And its really starting to bother me. Only Wendy, Gajeel, Levy, Juvia, and the exceeds are the only ones who didn't change. They're all my true friends. Even Natsu stopped hanging out with me, same goes with the remaining guild members i didn't mentioned earlier. Am i just a replacement? But i get it, Lisanna is really sweet and kind. Were even good friends so i can't bring myself to hate her. But this feeling right now is different. After sometime of arguing with myself, i finally decided to enter the guild.

  They're noisy and rowdy as usual. Broken tables, flying chairs, unconscious and drunked guild members. As same as usual. I made my way to my usual table where my TRUE friends are. I smiled at them and greeted them.

  After some time of chatting with Levy, i felt someone tapped my shoulder. I looked up to who did it and come face to face with non other than Natsu Dragneel. And it seems that something's up since he's not wearing his toothy grin nor is he smiling. Seriousness was written all over his face. I looked at his onxy eyes and saw a hint of sadness, fear, and pressure.

  "Lucy." He said, breaking the uncomfortable silence. Does he still sees me as his bestfriend? Maybe not. Cause he didn't use his nickname for me.

  "I.. umm.. we.. Me, Erza and Gray had a discussion.. and we decided to..." he said nervously but i cut him off.

  "Don't worry, Natsu. I'm personally quitting Team Natsu so don't bother on kicking me out the team." I said with a hint of sadness on my voice. A series of gasps was heard. Just then i realized that the whole guild was watching us. I just ignored their stares and looked at Natsu. He's eyes was covered by his bangs.

  "And i understand why you come up with that decision. It's the best for all of us. You guys can be the strongest team and i can train to be stronger. And let me tell master of our decisions." I said with a smile. But its fake. Before he could say anything else, I walked past him and tapped him on the shoulder and went straight to master's office.
