I can't imagine what went through skippers mind at that moment, I can still remember what I saw when that missile hit his plane I felt something break inside me. The plane was completely destroyed there's no way anyone would be able to survive an explosion like that, I was never the same man I was after that happened I had lost my wingman who I had served with for 10 long years we had been through hell and back winning dogfight after dogfight. But now that he was gone I felt a part of me go with him lieutenant Roger Spears airman of the 152nd flying raiders, he was a true ace to the end...
