Noct's coming back, don't worry!

Previous chapter : It wasn't bad. I just wished that Johan didn't ate half of it already.

Continuation (After school)
I was walking down the empty street on my way towards my house as today's events flashed through my mind. Today, I met the prince Noctis for the first time, I got caught spying on boys having a beauty chart with Cindy on it, Noctis became my friend, I got bullied, I got my sandwich half-eaten by Johan and Cindy saw me crying. My head suddenly started to get dizzy as I remembered everything, but still blushed as Cindy came up in my memories. She was so close to me and she touched me! How was I supposed to react!? Even worse, I might never get a chance with her! She saw me crying so maybe she thinks I am a crybaby now... To make it even worse, I even ran away! I now regret everything.

I then looked up and realised that I was already at the front door of my place and as usual, no car was parked on the parking lot. They weren't there, of course. It looked small and lonely but it was still quite inviting. I closed off the gate behind me and picked up the fast food at the door before heading inside. The lock made a sound as I placed in the key and the door opened. "Im home..." I said out of habit even though no one was in there. Gosh, I DO sound lonely. I gently placed the food on our table and dropped my bag at its feets. It was burgers again... I should've have said something healthier when they asked me what did I liked to eat. I stared at the meal as the thought of a homemade soup came up in my head. If only I could eat something as comforting once in a while... Leaving the fast food on the table to eat later in the evening, I go upstairs to do my homeworks, taking my bag with me. I mean, what else is there to do in this empty house ? Arrived in my room, I then noticed my camera sitting peacefully on my desk, waiting for me. I forgot it this morning so I couldn't take any pictures today. This time, I was not going to leave it home.

The next day
Just like any other day of the week, I was now back at school to learn some things that would never help me later on. As I stepped inside the gates, I prayed for today to be a better day than yesterday. I discreetly walked into the noisy hallways towards class with my eyes fixed on my camera, checking at photos I took. I really didn't want to bring attention to myself after what happened yesterday. Halfway there, I see a familiar silhouette that I liked very much from the corner of my eyes and as you figured it out, it was Cindy, Cindy Aurum. Just seeing her talking to her friends made my heart beat as fast as Sonic, remembering what she did yesterday. I tried to pass her without her noticing but it failed as she waved at me with a smile that everyone near us saw. I couldn't just ignore her now. I stopped in my tracks awkwardly and gave her a quick wave before going away. At the same time, I took the time to look around to check if Johan was around and luckily for me, he wasn't. I hope that someone won't tell him. Arrived in my classroom, I quickly sat to my seat without a single glance at my surroundings and grabbed my console to play Final Fantasy, totally flustered. How did our relationship grew in such a small pace of time ?? We were literally strangers yesterday and now, we're waving at each other in public ??! My mind couldn't believe what just happened. I mean, a wave AND a smile from Cindy ?! Was it a dream ?? As I was focused on Cindy, I finally snapped back to reality when a girl's voice asked me something. "Um... Can I ask what's going on between you and Cindy ?" I turned around to face her and saw a cute girl with short hair, probably a year lower than me, and holding a pen with a notebook with her. She wasn't in our class. The girl noticed my confused stare and cleared up her voice. "I am Iris Amicitia, head writer for the Elementary school of Insomnia's journal. I know, such a young girl like me can't be the head writer but yes I am. You can ask the principal you know ?" She sure talks a lot but she didn't really cleared up everything. I was about to ask for more but she interrupted me. "I wanted to get the information about the relationship between the hottest and nicest girl of this school and you to put in the front lines of the journal. Everyone has been craving to know ever since that small wave earlier. You got me pretty curious as well. I could've have asked Cindy but I guess that I got too shy and I followed you here instead. So, are you two a couple or just friends ? Maybe roommates or even coworkers in a secret agency ?" As I heard her intentions, I instantly shook my head side to side to make her know that she was wrong about everything but I guess that she didn't understood because when the bell finally rang, she told me that she was going to come back for more during the first break and rushed out of the class. I guess that I'll have to hurry out when break comes by. Soon after this interaction with Iris, the teacher stepped in and it was time for class to start.

An hour passed ever since Iris came in this class and finally, break time was here. I mumbled the new equations we learnt repeatedly to get them in my head and finally stopped as I remembered that this Iris girl was coming soon. I had to get out of there. I could use a little bit of water as well so going in the halls was no big deal. My brain was already dead and banging with pain after a single class. I discreetly got out of my classroom and made my way towards the bathroom, hoping to not bump into the girl. Arrived close enough to the place I wanted to go, successfully without meeting her in my way, I ended up getting stopped by another attroupment for the third time in two days. This time, it was girls and boys, all surrounding a a certain raven hedgedog head which I recognised on the spot. It was prince Noctis again ! What was he doing here this time ? Was he a student at this school and I never noticed before ? Just like yesterday, he looked bothered and bored as students tried to get his attention and talk about the numbers of servants he had.

I love Iris so much and I hope you do as well. She's just sooo nice and cute.
