I ran into the game room to tell her. When I did, she got all giddy and happy. I loved seeing my best friend like this.

"Until the glorious moment when he comes happens," she sighed, "let's do some KARAOKE!"

"Noooo, I CAN NOT sing!" I whined.

"Oh well, we're doing karaoke!" she insisted so I just went along with her stupid plans. "Choose a song," she said shoving mic in my hand. I scrolled through and saw a new song that I really like. The karaoke is internet-connected so it had all the latest songs the second they came out.

I chose it and Amanda smiled at me.

In the crowd, alone

Every second passing, reminds me I'm not home

Bright lights and city sounds are ringing like a drone

Unknown, unknown

OH, glazed eyes, empty hearts

Buying happy from shopping carts

Nothing but time to kill

Sipping life from bottles

Tight skin, bodyguards

Gucci down the boulevard

Cocaine, dollar bills and

My happy little pill

Take me away

Dry my eyes

Bring colour to my skies

My sweet little pill

Take my hunger

But within, numb my skin

Like a rock, afloat

Sweating conversations, seeping to my bones

Four walls are not enough

I'll take a dip into

The unknown, unknown

OH, glazed eyes, empty hearts

Buying happy from shopping carts

Nothing but time to kill

Sipping life from bottles

Tight skin, bodyguards

Gucci down the boulevard

Cocaine, dollar bills and

My happy little pill

Take me away

Dry my eyes

Bring colour to my skies

My sweet little pill

Take my hunger

But within, numb my skin

Then I pulled Amanda onto and danced weirdly during the instrumental. As I was going to keep singing the ending, I didn't notice all the boys quietly coming to down to listen.

OH, blazed eyes, empty hearts

Buying happy from shopping carts

Nothing but time to kill
