My Best Friend is a Werewolf!? [Complete]

Prologue

James Prescott and David Williams were best friends who grew up together since they were both orphaned at a very young age. The two boys met when they were 8 years old, at that time David had just admitted into the orphanage. David had lost his parents in a car accident whereas James was abandoned since infancy. David had isolated himself from the other kids ever since arriving at the orphanage, he would cry from time to time and sometimes he would take a walk by himself at the nearby forest. No one knows why he likes to go there, but every time he does so, he always returned either naked or shirtless. James finds this habit of his very peculiar and would often try to follow him into the forest, but every time he followed closely behind David, David would disappear and then there would be a loud howl. Where could he have gone? James was very eager to find out, but every time he comes close to finding out it becomes a dead end. Then one day, a group of older kids probably around 12 years old, came up to David and started calling him names like 'Jungle Boy' or 'Tarzan'. They would often push him around, make him trip and would sometimes throw his clothes into the dumpster. All the other kids didn't do anything to help him as they just stood by the sidelines and watch poor David get bullied. Then weeks later, they ganged up on David again and this time, they were assaulting him. Enough was enough. James thought to himself. Ignoring the other kids warning, James walked up to the bullies and pushed them off David.

"Stop it!" James stood in front of David as he boldly glared at the bullies. David was whimpering and crying as he sat up from the ground with his tiny hands covering his head. One of the bullies by the name of Jake snickered at him and hissed, "awwww looky here, looks like someone is trying to play hero." Jake and his friends began laughing and then Jake punched James in the face. Soon James and Jake were throwing punches at each other and then the sister nun Emily came and put a halt to the fight as she pulled the boys away from each other. After that incident, sister Emily had both James and Jake punished by cleaning the bathrooms for a week. James did most of the work whereas Jake just sneak out or doesn't show up for the punishment. By the end of the week, the last day of the punishment, David came up to James, "T-Thanks for standing u-up for someone like m-me." David spoke softly almost sounding like a whisper as he pulled out a couple of band aids from his tiny pockets for James.

James smiled brightly at David and replied, "Thanks for the band aid. I'm James by the way, James Prescott. what's your name?" David averted his gaze as he shyly replied, "David. David Williams. Nice to meet you." Ever since that little encounter, they became the bests of friends and vowed that if anyone were to adopt either one of them, they had to take them both. Due to that, James and David remained at the orphanage till they matured. Then one day, when they were 16 years old, James mustered up some courage to ask David about him going to the forest. James had been curious for quite sometime as to why David keeps going into the forest, but every time James questions, David would either change the topic or doesn't answer him at all. At the age of 16, David thought he shouldn't keep his secret from James anymore so, he told James to follow him into the forest one evening after high school. Right after school, the two boys headed for the forest and once they were deep enough into the forest, David started stripping his clothes. James was shock at the sudden action and shrieked "What The Fuck are you doing David??!!!" David cleared his throat as he replied, "just wait and see.''

All of a sudden David's eyes turned from blue to bright yellow, and then his teeth started growing fangs, his bones started making this cracking sound as fur started forming on his body and soon, David was standing on fours with big fluffy ears and a fluffy tail. A growl escaped from the beast as it stared at James waiting for a reaction. "HOLY SHIT! FUCK NO! HELL NO! WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK!?" The grey wolf with a dash of white spots came up closer to James as it whimpers at James. Reluctant at first, James reach out to touch the wolf's head as he swallowed a lump and whispered, "y-you're a w-werewolf.." the wolf tilted its head downwards as it nudges its head against James's shoulder. James gave a pat on its head and the wolf stepped back as it slowly shifted back to a human David. To put it bluntly, a naked human David. "Now you know my secret." David replied as he put on his clothes back on.
