Narration~
The rest of autumn passed by in the blink of an eye and then winter rolled in. There was still no sign of the chimaera, so things were less stressful now. Lloyd was back to smiling. He and Kai had developed a deep bond together and today, Kai was finally going to ask Lloyd out on their first date.

Kai's Point of View~
Lloyd and I have been together for a while now and we've gotten to know more about each other as well. I loved everything about him. I loved his sunlit blond hair, his adorable smile, his sparkling green eyes, but most of all, I loved him for who he was. He was the one for me and I knew I was the one for him. But today, today was gonna be special for both of us. I was going to ask Lloyd out on a date with me. I had been thinking about asking him for a while now, but I didn't have the courage to ask Lloyd then. And now, I was ready. I walked down the hall and saw Lloyd watching tv in the living room, eating an apple. "Hey Lloyd," I said, coming over to sit down next to him. "Hey Kai. What's up?" He responded, taking another bite from the apple. I blushed for a moment before finally managing to say, "Well, I was...I was wondering if you'd like to go out with me tomorrow night. You don't have to if you don't want to." I looked at Lloyd and saw a little bit of red plastered on his cheeks. "Y-you mean like a d-date?" He stammered while speaking. I nodded my head slowly. "Sure, I'd love to!" Lloyd said smiling. I raised my head and asked, "Really? You'll go out with me?" Lloyd nodded and said, "Yeah, I really want to. It sounds like fun." I smiled and responded, "Okay, how 'bout tomorrow night at 7:00? Does that sound okay for you?" Lloyd put the apple that was in his hand on a plate. "Yeah, that's fine." He said. Then it was set, me and Lloyd would go on our first date tomorrow night at 7:00.

Lloyd's Point of View~
I was happy that Kai had asked me out. It sounded like fun and I was really bored with nothing to do here anyway. And before I even realized it, the whole day had passed by. Today was the day, the day me and Kai go on our first date. I looked at the clock on my desk and noticed that it was 4:37. I had a couple of hours before the date. I decided I would at least choose which clothes I was gonna wear. I wanted something that was more presentable than what I was already wearing. The clothes I had on was nothing but a pair of black sweatpants and a light green t-shirt, which had a bit of a stain on it. I searched through my closet for a minute before finding a nice forest-green jacket, a pair of olive-green jeans, and a nice shirt. I placed them neatly on the edge of bed and daydreamed about what would happen tonight.

Kai's Point of View~
It was a little while before 7:00, so I thought I should pick something nice to wear so I wouldn't be rushing at the last minute. I picked out my red sweatshirt, red-velvet pants, and a bright red shirt. I put them on my chair and I sat down on my bed. I imagined what would happen later tonight. But one thought almost instantly popped into my head. What if the chimaera comes back and attacks us or the city? Should I reconsider? I thought. "Maybe, we'll be fine and have a great time tonight. But I will have to be cautious, for Lloyd's sake. I would do anything to protect him, even if it means giving my own life. That's what I promised to him after Garmadon was gone and I will keep it." I said.

{Time Skip~6:57 pm}

It was only a couple of minutes till it was 7:00. I waited at the front of the gates of the monastery, looking up at the sky. It had been cloudy for the past few days, maybe because of the weather. It was pretty cold out, but I was fine. Suddenly, I heard the door shut and I turned in the direction of the front door and I saw Lloyd. He was wearing olive-green pants and a forest-green jacket. His hair fluttered as the cool wind blew. I felt my face turn red and my heart pound in my chest. "So, you ready to get going?" He asked coming to me and wrapping his arm against mine. "Oh, um, yeah, let's go on ahead," I said as I cleared my throat. We summoned our elemental dragons and flew to Ninjago City. When we got there, the street lights were already on and barley anyone else was out tonight. "So, what do you want to do Lloyd?" I asked. "Hmm, I'm not sure, but I guess for now, we can walk around the city. If you want to though." Lloyd replied. "Okay, that sounds fine," I said. We walked down the sidewalk and chatted a bit. Then all of a sudden, I heard screams come from an alleyway nearby. "Did you hear that?" Asked Lloyd. "Yeah, c'mon, someone could be in trouble," I said running to where the screams were coming from. The alleyway wasn't that far, but when we got there, it was pure terror. A woman in distraught and a small girl in the arms of a man, wearing a grey hoodie. They were surrounded by a whole gang of them. The man holding the girl also had a blade mere inches away from her throat. "Give me the necklace or she gets it!" The man ordered. "Please! Let my daughter go! This necklace was a gift from my husband before he died! I'm begging you." Pleaded the woman. "Mommy! Help me!" Screamed the girl as she struggled to break free. My heart dropped when I saw them. Rage coursed through my body and I clenched my fist. "Hey, you! Let them go! Now! Or else!" I shouted, making our presence known. The gang members and woman turned to me and Lloyd. "Or else what, kid?" The man said as he smirked. "Or else you're gonna regret you ever met me," I said as my fist burst into flames. The other members began to crowd around us and some pulled out a weapon. And then, the brawl began. Attackers coming from different sides. I used my Spinjitzu and knocked them over. They took a hard thud against the walls and trash cans. The man holding the girl tightened his grip on her and you could actually hear her struggle to breathe. "H-help!" She shrieked, holding the man's arm, trying to break free. "Shut it, you brat!" The man ordered. The woman was on her knees, in tears. "Please, let her go. I'm begging you." She said as she sobbed. Lloyd and I were hesitant because if we tried to make a move, he would take the girl's life. "Give me that necklace, and you and your daughter can be free. But if you refuse, then say goodbye to your kid." He said in a sinister tone. The woman shed more tears before slowly taking off the silver necklace that was around her neck. She handed it to the man and he let go of the small child.
