Narration~
A week went by quickly after Kai and Lloyd's first date and everything seemed fine, until this fateful day. The chimaera came back and attacked the city again.

Kai's Point of View~
Me and the guys were outside training when we heard Nya shouting from the radar. "Guys! Come the Bounty quick! It's urgent!" She ordered. We all ran as fast as possible and Jay asked, "What's going on, Nya?!" She was looking on the screen and replied, "The chimaera! It's back! We've gotta go stop it!" We all nodded and ran back to the course and grabbed our weapons. We summoned our dragons and took off. While we were flying, Cole asked, "Where is it attacking at, Nya?!" Nya checked her Samurai X wrist band then looked back at us. "Central Park!" She shouted. We flew the park and saw people screaming in terror as the chimaera roared and swatted at the fleeing citizens. We flew straight down and confronted the creature. The lion and goat bared their teeth and the snake opened it's jaw wide, showing the long white fangs. "Man, I just really hate snakes." Said Jay. "C'mon, we gotta pierce it's heart if we want it dead." Said Lloyd. The chimaera pounced forward to Cole, but he got out of its way. "Zane, could you freeze it's feet so we can get a better chance to its heart?" I asked. Zane nodded and ice shot from the palms of his hands. Ice-covered its feet, but the lion shot fire from its mouth and melted the ice. "Now what?" Shouted Jay in frustration. "Maybe we can distract it and catch it off guard!" Suggested Lloyd. Everyone nodded and ran at it in all directions. The lion swatted it's paw, with its claws sticking out all around. "Woah!" Yelled Cole. The snake shot up towards Lloyd's neck and I screamed, "Lloyd!" He quickly moved out of its way, and the snake barely missed his neck.

Lloyd's Point of View~
That snake barely missed biting my neck and if it did, I would've been a goner. I used my energy to try and get the creature distracted from the others, but it was always alerted, mainly because it had three ways to know what move we'll do next. "It's impossible to stop this thing! We can't even land a single hit on it by surprise! It has three heads!" Yelled Jay. "We have to keep fighting! Remember, ninja never quit!" I shouted. Cole used his super-strength and picked up a large rock and threw it at the creature. The rock smashed, but it only made the chimaera angrier. It charged at a very fast speed and shoved it's way through vigorously. One of the goat's horns had slashed the left part of my face and it was bleeding out. The lion's claws also got a scratch on my arm. The lion growled, the goat let out a deep bleat, and the snake hissed a menacing hiss as it started at us. I used a lot of my might and conjured up a huge ball of energy and cast it towards it. The energy hit the chimaera, knocking it down, but slowly, it got back up and had a deadly expression on its face. Oh no. I thought as it crept closer to me. I began to panic. Then, I saw Kai jump onto it, trying to pierce it, but the creature threw him off as if he were an old toy being thrown out into the trash. Kai hit the ground with a hard thud. "Kai!!" I screamed as I tried to rush over to him, but the chimaera got in front of me. Then right before my eyes, it leaped straight over me. But before I could react, I felt two sharp things like needles sink into the crook of my neck. I yelled in pain and dropped down to the ground. I struggled to get up, but it was no use. The whole world was spinning and I felt dizzy.

Kai's Point of View~
My body ached from being thrown off, but I managed to slowly get up. But to my horror, I saw Lloyd get bitten by the snake. He screamed and dropped to the ground. My eyes widened and I yelled, "No! Lloyd!!" I rushed over to him and knelt beside him. I gently picked him up and he was breathing heavily and his left cheek and arm were bleeding out badly. I felt tears well up in my eyes and a couple traced down my face. "No, Lloyd," I said as I held him tighter. I looked up and saw the others fighting off the chimaera. At that moment, rage and fury flooded over my entire body and mind. I carefully placed Lloyd down and held my sword in my hands. I didn't care at this point if my body was hurting because now Lloyd's life was up on the edge and I promised to keep him safe, no matter what. In my head I thought, You're not gonna away with this you monster. Even if I die, you're coming with me. The chimaera turned it's attention to me and growled. Then, it charged to me. I ran up to it as well. It jumped up, trying to do the same technique as it to Lloyd, but before the snake could get a bite, I shot my sword up and it pierced through the creature's heart. The animals all made roars and screeches before slowly going limp and dying. I was breathing hard and I stared at the body. The others erupted in cheer and crowded around me. I didn't say anything. I shoved my way through and went back to Lloyd's lifeless body. There were mixed emotions swirling around in my head including anger, sadness, and guilt. I couldn't help but cry. Zane came over and checked to see if Lloyd still had a pulse while the others dialed 911. "He's still alive, but barely." Said Zane. "You're gonna be okay, Lloyd. We're gonna take you to the hospital and they'll help you." I said softly to Lloyd.
