"Mhm, that's great" I say to Todd

"dude, you weren't even listening, I just said Corinna broke up with me, again." he sighed furrowing his eyebrows

"sorry I just can't stop thinking about this girl" I say shaking off the thought while rolling my shoulders back

"well if you like her go for it, it's been a year since Liza and you broke up now and haven't gotten back together" Todd says getting up from his bed

"I don't know, I offered her a job so she might be around" I shrug

"That'll be great, what's her name" Todd asks while walking out the room

"her name is Samantha brinley zach!" I loudly replied as it echoed through the hallway

"Sounds cute, do you have a picture of her?" he yells loud enough for me to hear him

"no, but she's pretty" I laugh

"so David dobrik approved, nice." Todd joked

I went to grab my phone if I could find a picture of her on instagram, I clicked into the app and started searching 'Samanthabrinleyzach" nothing came up on any sorts, hmm guess I'll see her around. I also needed to go back on campus to collect the flyers soon since I think she's going to take the job.

If you're asking yourself why David dobrik is going to university it is because after liza and I broke up I had a relapse because I never went to college or university, I decided I'll study film writing since Jason always talked about writing movies, and I absolutely loved that idea. So here I am now, 22 and going to ucla.

I was thinking about the job, I've never edited a YouTube clip, I've only edited snippets of film. I calculated if I do 6 months of working for him I could pay rent and buy a iPhone 8, I never even had a phone so that'll be a start, well an iPhone, mines currently a flip phone from when I was 5.

I was thinking where I would find David or contact him when I remembered, the flyers! I went to go the library and took a flyer when I saw David himself.

"so you're taking the job?" He asks raising and eyebrow

"Yes." I nod and smile

"Yay!!" He yells hugging me

"Shhh!" The librarian shushes

"oh sorry" he says stepping away from me

"David, could I have your number just so like I can call you and stuff" i asked grabbing my flip phone from my pocket

"what's that?" he asks laughing

"It's my phone" I defended "I'm not rich okay!" I joke which was true

"first I need to buy you a phone so I can properly text you so you'll text back" he rolls his eyes

"yeah no way, you are not buying me a phone, I hate gifts. I like working so I deserve everything" I roll my eyes back

"you're special Samantha" he squints poking my shoulder

"call me sam, or sam b" I grab his hand off my shoulder

"okay sam breezy" he said making up a new nickname

"I have a few questions about working with you, mind if I take you to coffee?" I ask walking along side the building

"sure, I'll drive" he said "and my car is that way" he turns and points

"that's fine with me, I don't have a car anyways" I laugh
