i came back from Colby's house with the boys and brinley was still on the couch.

I carried her into her room and sat on the end of the bed and I just admire her.

"you're in love aren't you" alex says from outside the room

"shut up you dick" I whisper yelled

I walk out and scotty, Heath, zane and Todd have already raided my fridge.

"beer?" scott says throwing me one

"you know I don't drink idiot" I laugh

30 minutes pass by and it was just the guys playing pool.

"hey guys.. I know it's like 3am, but is anyone down for food?" brinley says quietly walking out her room

"yesss, im totally downnnn" heath slurred

"maybe, the sober ones and I will just go, for ya know, safety" she giggled

"hey hottie, can I come" Todd asks

"I can never tell if todd is drunk or not cause he's just weird drunk or not" brinley jokes

"okay let's go, in the Tesla, Alex, brinley, and me" I say grabbing my keys from the table top

"I'm still coming loser, I'm fun drunk" Todd says stumbling to the door

"Let me pick you up toad" brinley runs towards him and some how piggy backs him

we somehow end up making it to the car and I start driving.

"so where we going ms zach" I ask

"Mickey d's!!!" She fan girls

when we made it to the drive thru Todd ordered a bunch of food

"so like three Big Macs, four large mcflurries-" "Todd, arent you on a diet?" brinley laughs "and you don't have a boyfriend, and I do, so" Todd drunkenly said back

my face drops and I look at Alex

"guys what is he talking about" brinley voice changes

"I was gonna tell you later brin, I swear" I told her

her eyes start to tear up

"hello, are you guys still ordering?" the McDonald's employee said

"let's just get those orders for now" brinley answers

"are you mad Brinley?" i felt so sorry, ugh I would totally punch Todd right now

"I'm not mad, I'm just a little down...." she doesn't even look me in the eyes

I drove up to the next window and paid

"why. why did he break up. what did I do wrong david? am I not pretty enough?" her voice cracks

"hey brin, you're one of the prettiest girls I've met and I'm sure anyone would die to have you" Alex responds

she doesn't respond, she just breathes heavily

"brinley, dont have another panic attack, breathe, it's okay, it wasn't worth it, we egged his car it's okay" I try to calm her down

"you did what to his car??? davey, I have to go apologize" she sighs

"brin, im sorry, but he was an asshole and he didnt treat you right" I looked her in the eye

she stayed quiet

"here's your food and it's 40$" the worker said

I mouthed thanks to the worker and drove home

once we drove home, we gave food to everyone but brinley just took a mcflurry and went into her room.

"I should go apologize again right? did I do the right thing?" I ask Alex

"just give her time, she just got cheated and dumped in 48 hours" Alex replies

Everyone left around 4am and I sat in my room in the dark.

I heard a knock at my door

"David? I'm sorry that I'm even gonna ask this, but i had a nightmare and I'm too scared to be alone" the voice said

"come in" I sat up

brinley sat on the other side of my bed

"lay down with me, I'm sorry" I turn to look at her

she laid down and climbed in

"are you okay" I asked

"I'm just going through a lot, I didn't think my first relationship would end up like this" she starts tearing up

she turns to look at me in the eye, then suddenly, I grabbed her face and kissed her. she kissed back. I think my heart just skipped a beat.
