"yes."

I said yes, because I'm too afraid of messing things up with him.

"Okay get in the car, and we'll go back to my place"

I nodded

as soon as we got back I see blankets and chocolate and I guess everything that was supposed to make me forgive him

"thank you.." I sighed under my breath

I just look down and sat on the bed

"come on babe" Colby says in my ear

he starts kissing me and I kiss back softly

I laid down and just turned away from him

"can I just please get sleep... I've had a long day" I say trying not to tear up

"yeah.. okay.." Colby says sounding annoyed

I just laid on my side and start tearing up, i tried not to make a sound but I waited until Colby fell asleep

I walk downstairs to sit on the couch

"hey.. you okay?" I hear while I sobbed what I thought was quietly

"I'm fine" I laugh pretending I was alright

sam walks around the couch from behind me and sat down

"what's wrong?" he says concerned

"just, stuff." I answer

"let's go on a drive and tell me" he gets up

I follow him to his car and got in

I take a deep breath in

"I'm just not very happy with where I am with Colby, I don't know, I just-" I sigh

"is it the whole girl thing"

"a little... well yeah I guess, it's just that I, i dont even know how to explain it I just feel so down"

"he was drunk, which isn't an excuse but if you don't feel happy with him, why don't you just leave"

"I'd rather be with someone who loved me than try to find someone who'd love me at all,, I've never found anyone, I just think he was feeling lonely since I didn't stay the night"

"why are you making excuses for him?"

I took a long pause before trying not to breakdown while saying it

"because when people stop making excuses, I start making it for them. everything is just my fault, I overreacted"

"have you ever looked into therapy?"

"there's nothing wrong with me, I'm not depressed, anxious or anything."

"you don't need anything wrong with you to see someone"

"I'll look into it, thank you Sam"

"no problem, also with Colby, I hope you figure it out, but if you need some help, I'll always be here for you, just know that"

I smile at him

"can you drop me off at David's place please"

"yeah, I'll just tell colby you left before he woke up"

"you're the best Sam, we should seriously hang out more"

"of course, we could be the sam squad"

I roll my eyes and laugh

we ended up sitting in silence before arriving at David's house

"let me get your number, so we could plan something" he asks
