Chapter 1: Marker

"Why did I have to hear you got your marker from Archie, Betty?"
"I'm sorry V. I had to tell someone."
"And you chose Archie? I love him but you know he can't keep a secret."
"Don't I know it."
"Well B, who is it?"
"Forsythe."
"Forsythe? Who is that?"
"Well you see V. Thats sort of the problem. I don't know. No one in Riverdale is named Forsythe."
"No Betty, i mean who is that?"
When the two turned around they saw a guy. A black haired beenie wearing weirdo as Veronica put it. Know one knew who this mystery man was or where he came from. He walked right past all the gawking northsiders without a care in the world.
"Fresh meat bulldogs" head football player Reggie Mantle yelled. And the hall was filled with barking. And in all the commotion no one saw the black haired boy slip out the side door. Well, no one but Betty Cooper.
