Chapter 14

Cali's P.O.V

"Cali, Can I talk to you?" I heard Jc say from the door of the nursery. I finished wrapping up Ashtons diaper and put her back in the crib, looking at him with a smile. He waltzed over to me and wrapped his arms around my waist. "Do you love me?" he asked, putting his face in my neck. I cocked my head and pursed my lips.
"Of course I love you silly. Why would you ask a dumb question like that?" I turned to face him and placed my hand on his cheek. "Baby, is there something wrong. Something you aren't telling me?" he shook his head no and pulled away from me.

"I can't do this." he said kind of muffled by his hand as he ran it over his mouth.
"Do what honey. You can tell me." I said placing a hand on his shoulder.
"I just, I can't tell you. I-its supposed to be a surprise. I got you a um a necklace for our anniversary." he said turning and smiling a little smile. I giggled and covered my mouth.

"You couldn't give me a necklace. Wow Jc you really need to step up your game. Ya know, Jackson brought me home a macaroni necklace today and I might have to replace you with his little art projects." I said laughing and kissing his cheek, walking out of the room.
