Calis P.O.V

"Cali calm down." Jc said resting his hand on my leg.
"What if he freaking kidnaps her Jc. Huh? Shouldn't he have brought her back by now?" I was freaking out because Sam should have already brought back Gracie and I was being very over protective. There was a knock on the door and I literally ran to get it. "Oh you're here." I said, trying to act calm as I took Gracie from Sam.

"Sorry, I lost track of time. Do you mind if I pick her up from daycare tomorrow and take her out for ice cream and to the park." He asked leaning up against the door frame. I sat Gracie down and she took off to where Jc was on the couch. I stepped out on the porch and closed the door.
"Sam, why did you come back? We were doing fine without you here." I said, crossing my arms over my chest as a breeze swept in.

He starred at me and started taking his coat off, placing it around my shoulders. "I just wanted to see you again and I knew if I couldn't spend time with you that my last chance would be to spend time with the littler version of you. I know you don't want any of my erm bullshit but I just wanted to see you and I know we aren't exactly on the right foot but I really am sorry and I want you to know this. I know you aren't going to forgive me for everything I've done and put you through but please don't keep her from me. I really would like to be in her life, even if I haven't acted like it." He said with a small smile. I sighed and returned the smile.

"Where was this Sam when we were together? Yea, it's fine if you pick her up tomorrow, just have her back by five." His smile grew big and he opened his arms for a hug. I hesitated before excepting it. I breathed in his sent, the one I missed and we stood there like that for a minute or so and I pulled away.
"I should go put Gracie to bed." I said opening up the door. "Bye." He smiled.
"Bye Cali." He said walking off the porch. I walked inside and locked up the door.

"Cali, where did you get the jacket?" Jc asked. I looked down and gasped.
"Shit, I was getting cold and Sam just lent it to me, I must've forgotten to take it off." I said sliding it off my arms and hanging it on the coat rack. "Can you put Gracie to bed, I think I'm about to go hop in the shower." I asked. He nodded and kissed me. "Thank you." I yelled running up the stairs.

A/n: Guys guess what! My hair is FREAKIN PURPLE. Anyways on a whole other note. I start school tomorrow, yay. (Note my sarcasm.) I'm honestly so terrified because I feel like I'm gonna have a repeat of what happened to me last year. I had gotten lost and literally went into a full blown panic attack and was crying in the middle of the hallway. So I had to call my mom to come pick me up. Mmm yea great way to start the school year. And since I'm going to an entirely different school this year, I'm scared. Any way I hope you like the chapter and like pray for me please, Haha. .
