Chapter 26

Jc's P.O.V

"You look sick babe, are you sure you're okay?" I asked Cali as she let out another cough.
"Yes Jc, I'm fine. Just a little tired that's all." She said, continuing to fold laundry. "Jc, can you get me a glass of water?" Cali asked me. I nodded and walked into the kitchen, filling a glass and taking it back out to her. "Thank you." She said drinking the entire glass.

"Are you positive you are okay?" I asked again. She nodded.
"I promise I'm fine." She said reassuring me. I sat down next to her and helped, her looking at me and smiling. "I love you." She said, leaning over and kissing me.
"I love you too." After we finished cleaning the house, Cali went to take a shower and I went and sat in bed, waiting for her. After she hadn't come back in nearly an hour, I walked in and checked on her.

"Cali." She didn't answer and I opened the door. She was sprawled across the floor, passed out. I pulled out my phone and called 911, waiting for them to get there. We got to the hospital and they immediately took her back while I called everyone.

"What happened?" They asked running into the waiting room.
"I don't know, she was passed out on the floor." I said, in tears.

"I'm looking for Cali Caylen's husband." A nurse said.
"That's me." I said walking over to her.
