Cali's P.O.V

After the funeral I was a mess, no more of hearing my Nana's voice or her hugging me tight when I was upset. It was gone, all of it. I tried my best to stay possitive but sometimes I broke, having Jc right there to catch me when I fell to the floor. He would lay in bed with me for endless hours, just whispering sweet nothings in my ear.

"I love you." He whispered into my hair kissing the top of my head.
"I love you too." I whispered back to him. Andrea and Kian took the kids for a while, until I was sure I was okay.
"I want forever with you." He said into my ear, pressing a small kiss to my temple.
"And I want the same with you." I said smiling a little.

It was probably one of the first times I've smiled since I got the news about Nana. "There it is, that beautiful smile that belongs to the precious thing that is my Cali." He said kissing my nose. I giggled some. "I knew you still had it in you." He said wrapping his arms tighter around my waist.
"I love you, you do know that right?" I said playing with a piece of his stray hair.
"Of course." He said smiling.
"I just don't tell you enough and you tell me all the time." I said drawing circles with my fingers in his chest.
"You don't have to tell me all the time because I know you mean it when you do say it, I only say it so much because I know you don't believe me but I really do."

"I know you do. I do believe you everytime you tell me." I said shyly.
"Okay, sure you do." He said laughing. I smacked my lips together.
"I do." I said rolling my eyes.
"Okay, I believe you." He said laughing.
