"Julian? what's up? how do you know where I live?" he looks out of it. "Audrey...she had a really bad asthma attack. she's in the hospital and she wanted me to come and get you and Jace." "uh, is she okay?" "yeah she's fine. she just wants to see her friends." "ok. let's get Jace."  "I already did he's waiting in the car." "err, okay. mother! I'm going to the hospital to see Audrey!" "I know honey Trisha told me!" "bye love you!" I practically run to the car. I jump in the back seat. "hey Ronny." "hey Jace!" "love your glasses." he winks. I absolutely positively sure I am blushing right now. "haha thanks. oh, what game are you playing?" "temple run two. I'm pretty good! if I do say so myself." "really? can I try?" "sure."

he hands me the phone and I press the word play. I slide my finger for turns, ducks, jumps, and to reach power ups. on my first run I get over 200,000. 202,346 to be exact. it's says his high score is 904,568! I have a long  to go! I play all the way to the hospital. the highest score I get is 603,672. "hey Ronny?" "yeah Jace?" you just ran into a wall and you're still playing. maybe you should stop for a while." he chuckles softly which makes my knees week. his laugh is angelic. I die from his distraction! dang it! "Jace! ugh! you stupid! you made me lose!" I wack his arm and he laughs. then he swiftly grabs his phone back. "you can have it back when you learn to be nice!" I cross my arms and stick my tongue out at him. he rolls his eyes. I just want to stare into his eyes all day. man, I have it bad...I think.

when we finally reach the room I see Audrey on the hospital bed. she is sleeping. Julian looms at us apologetically. "do you guys mind waiting?" I shake my head. "not at all!" I look to Jace then to his pocket where his phone is at. I do this several times. he just laughs and says "no no no." "pleeeaaassseee?" I give him my best puppy dog eyes. he rolls his eyes then reaches into his pocket and grabs his phone. then he lifts it way up high! "no fair you're like 5"11 and I'm only 5"4!" he smirks. "that's what makes it fun!" I jump and reach for the phone. it's no use. I climb on a chair and jump on his back. I reach and reach for the phone and I'm practically just getting a piggy back ride from Jace because I'm nowhere near getting the phone from Jace. we're both laughing really loud. Julian went to go get snacks earlier so when he came in he looks at us and lifts an eyebrow. "what's going on here?" we freeze. I look at Jace, Jace looks at me. Jace shrugs his shoulders. "nothing just having fun." Julian shakes his head. I laugh and finally get down off of Jace with no success of getting the phone.

Julian asks "how long have you been up?" I look over Audrey who is sitting up in her bed. "sorry did we wake you?" she laughs. "yeah but that's okay, I saw the whole thing. it was free hospital entertainment!" she laughs then winks. I look over to Jace. did he just blush? "dude, are you blushing? I've never seen you blush before!" "shut up Julian! I'm not blushing!" Julian throws his hands up like he's surrendering. "whoa man, just a question." Jace sits down and crosses his arms. "yeah, whatever."

"so how are you Audrey? what happened?" I'm actually concerned unlike the usual me. "im good, I was just playing basketball with Julian and I had n asthma attack, but then I couldn't find my inhaler. we looked everywhere, Julian drove me to the hospital. my parents are out of town, they'll be here in an hour or so. aaaand here we are." Julian grabs her hand. they're so cute. "how long have you guys been together?" Julian answers. "three years."

after about half an hour I ask a question "so do we leave once your parents come? and how much longer till they're here?" she smiles "in a hurry?" I rub the back of my neck. "uh, well...you see...the entire star wars trilogy is on at five and its already 4:27 and..." she giggles. "Jace will you take her home?" he shifts his weight from one t to the other. "well you see, I didn't know it was on today and now that I do..I mean. if you don't mind." "Julian please drive these two nerds back to their homes." Julian rolls his eyes then grabs his keys. once we reach Jace' s house I get out and so does Jace.  Julian screams to us "see you later I will!" then he snorts to make fun of us. I smile and wave bye.

"hey, do you wanna come over and watch the movie with me? I have popcorn and mint chocolate chip ice cream!" I laugh and nod. we head inside his house. "how did you know that mint chocolate chip is my favorite type of ice cream?" he looks at me kind of confused. "you told me, the first time we met, when we played candy land." his eyes are soft and gorgeous. I make the popcorn while he grabs a tub of ice cream and two spoons.

once we're on the couch he turns on the t.v. he turns to me. "we still have 10 minutes before it starts." "oh ok, well, what do you want to do?" "can we talk?" he face looks serious. "yeah sure. about what?" "err, I broke up with Claire." "really?..." "yeah." "that's awesome!" I go to the kitchen and grab some chocolate syrup." he chuckles and we watch the the first episode and record the next two so we can watch them tomorrow and the next day.

when I get home I grab another Apple and head upstairs. I wake up and look at my clock, 5:32. it's October already and I'm dreading school. Claire is really getting on my nerves. she trips me or bumps me. she calls me names, spreads rumors, and everything. I grab some light wash jeans with a rip on the knee, I also grab my favorite t-shirt. it has Darth Vader on the front. I tuckle in the front of my shirt into the front of my pants. I grab some black flats. after that I go to the bathroom and brush my teeth, put my make up on. I look for my contacts but I can't find them. I keep looking and searching. they're no where to be found. I really have to leave! ggggrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

I stomp downstairs and grab and make some sort quick toast, it might as well have just been bread. I run to the car where Samantha is waiting for me. I get in the front seat and cross my arms then blow the hair out of my face. "what's wrong with you?" I point to my glasses. "ooohh! they're not that bad.....well the star wars t-shirt doesn't help." I should have changed my shirt. "oh well."

I'm walking down the hallway normally and get to my locker. no-one is looking at me weird so I guess I overreacted. thank goodness it's Friday. Audrey walks up. "hey Ronny! what's...oh. you look mad. cute glasses!" "ugh. they're not cute."

during lunch I sit next to Jace and on the other side is Audrey and Julian. the usual. "so how has your day been Ron?" "Julian, you have no idea! I couldn't find my contacts so I'm wearing my stupid glasses, I left my history homework at home, Claire bumped me into a trashcan today and its only forth period!" they're all staring t me with wide eyes. "sorry guys I'm just a little stressed out. I just. ugh. sorry." I lay my head down on the lunch table. Jace' s hot breath tickles my ear. "for the record, I happen to think your glasses are adorable." I snort. "no." I look Into his eyes and melt. "yes they are." he pushes my glasses up the ridge of my nose. "thanks." I giggle. he's perfect. "you want me to buy you an ice cream sandwich? they have your favorite!" I roll my eyes and smile. he knows I'm giving in.

as we get up I hear Audrey whisper to Julian. "do you think he's going to tell her right now?" "I don't know." Jace shoots them a death glare then grabs my wrist and drags me away.  "what are hey talking about?" clenched his jaw. "nothing. I'll go grab the ice cream." I feel someone bump my shoulder. "watch where you're going for eyes." I hear whispers. "loser," "freak," "boyfriend stealer." I look to Claire and her friends walking away, they're snickering. this isn't going to stop.

"hey babe. err sorry I meant umm, I meant Ron, I'm so sorry, er, sorry." I laugh. "Jace," I put my hand on his shoulder. "it's fine. really....babe." I wink. he chuckles and drags me back to the table. he makes me forget about my problems. when I'm with him my problems melt away. at least until 6th period.

6th period. I walk in to see a smiling Claire. she is sitting on some jock' s lap and whispering into his ear. he chuckles then kisses her cheek. her eyes are seductive just like her smile. I sit down in the back. I keep looking over to Claire to see whether or not she has noticed me. a loud voice interrupts. "okay, today class, we are going to work on our group projects, I will assign you guys to groups, and you can work during the rest of class today." the teacher starts calling out names out left and right. "Matthew! you go with Ronny, and-" *ring ring ring* seriously? a fire drill right now?
