I wake up three minutes before my alarm is scheduled. I slowly get up and go to my closet. I pick out a wine colored cardigan, a cream colored knit top, and some dark jeans. I also wear some Brown booties. I get dressed, after I brush my teeth and take a body shower. after I'm dressed I straighten my hair, then go to my room to make sure I have everything I need for school. I have everything! last thing to do is put on my contacts. once I'm done I head downstairs to get some breakfast. I make some over easy eggs, and drink some coffee. I brush my teeth one more time then meet Samantha in her car.

"hey Ronny! are you excited?" do I answer honesty? "honestly?" "well duh!" oh. "not really..." she smiles then ruffles my hair. "you'll be fine. just don't be....a loner okay? promise me you'll talk to someone!" ugh. "k." she furrows her brows. "you know I hate that." I roll my eyes. "yeah yeah yeah."

once we pull up to school I mutter to myself. "this school is tiny. I won't be able to pee in the bathroom without everyone hearing it from someone else." Samantha just laughs. "oh my gosh. Ronny, you'll be fine." I got out of the car. "remember your promise!" "ugh!! I know I know! talk to someone!" I grab the strap to my bag and look at the floor. I'm only shy at first, and right now I'm hoping not to get noticed at all. I look for room 114B, my home base. I finally find the room and go to the back corner desk. my homeroom teacher is Mr. Lithsman. he's loud and seems strict. I put my head down on the desk and wait for first period to start. I feel a tap on my shoulder. don't be Claire! don't be Claire! I look up and see a girl in a blue dress, and black boots. he has auburn hair that slowly as you move down turns to blonde. she wears a very friendly smile on her face, and says "hi I'm Audrey!...are you okay?" she seems bubbly...but not annoying. "hi...I'm Ronny. and yeah I guess I'm okay." she looks at me as if I'm from another world. "hmm..." she thinking. I wonder about what. "do you want to be friends?" her smile is wide and confident! I snort. "you want to be my friend?" she looks like she's confused now. "sure, why not?" oh, I don't know, maybe because of puppy diarrhea! "I don't know." "well I want to be your friend." she smiles again. "oh okay!" I smirk and then she squeals and bounces on her heels.

during first period we get our locker combinations and our locker numbers. my locker is locker number 263 and  on one side of my locker is a dented locker, and on the other side of my locker is the locker of Audrey! who woulda thought! I'm Actually very excited because I have a friend here who is nice and (key word) REAL! "Can I see your schedule?" Audrey asks. "uhh, sure?" why does she want to see my schedule? "eeeee! we have 5 out of 7 classes together! And then we can eat lunch together."  "that's cool!...um I think I just went deaf though!" "haha sorry!" once first period is over we walk together to second period (Algebra 2). on the way we talk about ourselves. "well, I like the colors pink and lime green, I am a cheerleader, I have 2 little brothers and an older sister. my whole name is Audrey  Caroline Smith! And oh yeah I have a boyfriend! his name is Julian and he's amazing! he's a junior but just like this next class, I'll have classes with him because I'm in all advanced classes just like you!" she looks at me expectantly. "uhh, I love the color blue, I'm a nerd. I like things like star wars, the Lord of the rings, and I like to read. I wear contacts, and my whole name is Veronica Louise Matthews. and I have an older sister." she looks at me and then asks, "do you like anyone?" "No."

once we get to class we both sit down in the middle row. a tan boy with light brown hair and green eyes walks in wearing a varsity jacket. he looks around then sees Audrey. "hey babe!" she looks at me then pats the seat next to her. he sits down and he looks to me and puts out his hand. "hey, I'm Julian. I'm Audrey' s boyfriend." I shake his hand. "Ronny." he looks over to the door. "oh hey Jace!" no freaking way.

I quickly turn around. once he sees me he waves and says hi to me. "you guys know each other?" Audrey seems confused. "uhh, yeah he's my neighbour and my friend." he comes and sits down on the other side of me. "sup Julian." Julian replies with "hey man." Audrey says hi as well and Jace pokes me. "I don't get a hug from you?" I smirk then hug him. "haha hi." he looks at me for a couple of seconds then gives a slight frown. what? am I that ugly? "you didn't wear your glasses today." "yeah I know, I didn't want to" "why not? I like your glasses." I think back to Claire's comment the other day. I sigh. "not everyone does." he frowns again then raps his arm around me sending that electric shock once again. I look over to Audrey and Julian who are staring at us with weird looks on their faces. Jace sees it too and says "we're friends guys!" Julian comes back with "you don't do that to any of your other friends." I feel the heat rush to my cheeks and so I look at the floor. Audrey looks at us once I pull my head back up and force myself to look at Jace (who's arm is still around me) then Audrey says "well I think it's cute. plus she's like his only friend who's a girl, other than his girlfriend. Claire." she makes a pretend sick face. I laugh...a lot. Jace looks at me and raises one eyebrow up. I clear my throat and stop laughing. this time they all laugh at me.

during lunch we all sit together, and it was fun until Claire joined us. I just get up and go sit next to Audrey. she is all over Jace! But Jace seems annoyed more than intrigued. he can't hold a conversation because she is all over him. it's really annoying.

I have 2 more classes with Jace through out the day. school is good except 6th period. I don't have Audrey or Jace but I do have Claire. yay. she makes sure to give me really dirty looks and then comments on my outfit. she whispers to her friends all class period, and they snicker and point at me. this class is going to be greeaaaaat. during seventh period I tell Audrey about Claire from the very beginning. "I hate her too. she's so mean to everyone. I just wish Jace could see that." I completely agree with her. I don't say anything, but I  nod.

when I get home mother asks Samantha and I about school. Samantha attacks the question! "school was great! lots of hot guys! classes are ok, no horrible teachers, and I met lots of people! mom lets never move again!" Madre chuckles, and looks at me. "and you Ronny? how was school today?" "it was good. I talked to someone." they both gasp. "yeah, and she's really cool, her name is Audrey. also Jace is in three of my classes, and Audrey, her boyfriend, Jace, Jace' s girlfriend, and I all ate lunch together. it was....it was a good day." mother seems really happy. Samantha does too.
