Jeno x Renjun

Jeno watches as the beautiful brunette walks into the library. As usual his head was tilted downwards causing his soft hair to fall over his face. His large round glasses slip down his nose and he pushes them up. A book lay open in his hands, his eyes scanning the words on the page.

Jeno worked part time at the local library, and each night after school was over he would try and get to the library as fast as he could so that he didn't miss the beautiful boy who always seemed to be there. Renjun was his name. Jeno only knew this as he had glanced at his information when swiping his library card. However he had never had a full conversation with the boy. There were many occasions where Jeno would have to tell Renjun that the library was closing as the boy tends to stay for hours just reading book after book and loosing track of time. Other than that they had never spoken. Jeno was pretty content on admiring from afar.

"Yah! Jeno" a voice snaps him from his daydream and he reluctantly drags his eyes over to the redhead in front of him. "I need to borrow this book" Donghyuck pushes a chemistry textbook towards Jeno, a bored expression on his face.

"Your borrowing a book? Is the world ending?" Jeno laughs as he scans the book and stamps the front page.
Donghyuck only scoffs and crosses his arms over his chest, waiting for Jeno to finish registering the book on the computer as borrowed.
"Library card?"

Donghyuck freezes slightly, a sly smirk appearing on his lips. "Jeno, me and you have been friends for a while, you know I don't own a library card. Do me a favour and let me take the book" he begs and Jeno rolls his eyes but slides the book over nonetheless.

"Your going to get me in trouble" Jeno mutters, swiping his own library card and registering himself as the one who borrowed the book.

"Sooo." Donghyuck trails off, his eyes moving behind him. "Are you still drooling over that book worm?" He asks, leaning against the counter slightly. Both boys look over to the table where the brunette sat, a book lay open and his head propped up by his hand.

"I'm not drooling over him. I just think he's really cute".
Renjun smiles at something in the book which causes a smile to appear on Jeno's own lips.

"You should talk to him"
Jeno's eyes widen and he quickly shakes his head.

"I can't do that, do you know how weird I'll look" his tone held slight panic even though he wasn't being forced to make a move.

"Fine whatever. I have to go, Mark and his girlfriend are arguing again so I need to go and do my homosexual ritual on his hetro ass" the redhead says before grabbing the chemistry textbook and leaving the library.

Jeno sighs, his eyes moving back over to where Renjun was sitting. He did want to get to know him but he lacked the confidence to waltz over there and sweep him off his feet.
Suddenly, Renjun stands and wanders over to the bookshelves, his eyes scanning the worn out spines for a new book to read. Jeno was sure that the boy had already read over half the books in this entire library at least one over.

His eyes drift back to the spot on the table where Renjun had been sat, his book still lay open.
Jeno bit his lip, his mind forming an idea before he quickly grabs a piece of paper, scribbling something down before folding it up. Making sure Renjun was still occupied with searching for books, Jeno rushes over to the table, placing the folded paper between the pages of the book, closing it before racing back behind the desk.
