I got out the shower, wrapped a towel around me and left the bathroom. After drying off and slipping on a light pink bra and the matching panties, I opened my closet door, wondering what to wear to my first day at GreenWear High.
I stood in front of the closet for nearly half an hour obssessing over my clothing choice. I was extremely nervous about going to school today and even a stuipd decision like what shirt to choose was stressing me out. I gave a sigh of frustration and was hit with a sudden longing for Carmen. I just wanted to pick up the phone and dial her number. The sudden desire to hear her soothing voice as she calmed me and gave me advice on what to wear, hit me suddenly and hard making my breath hitch for a secand as I faught to keep the tears away.
After pushing all thoughts away I sighed and grabbed the first pair of jeans I saw. I slipped on my light colored, hip hugging pants and grabbed a plain black tee. The shirt and jeans clung to my body making me extremely uncomfortable. However, all my cloths was like that. I didn't have money to buy a new wordrobe so I was stuck with everything I already owned. I gave a shudder at the clinging cloths and put on a baggy grey sweater I had convinced Rose's son Brad to give me. His fram was large and it worked to cover my top curves and reached half way down my arse. I then brushed my hair placing it in a high ponytail before slipping on my black flats, grabbing my school bag full of school supplies Rose got me, and left my room.
I headed downstairs towards the kitchen, hearing loud chatter as I neared. I slipped in and grabbed a gronola bar as I sat in my seat in between Derek and Brad.
Derek and Brad where two of the younger Wain boys. Brad was fifeteen and a major flirt as well as a clown. He was extremely fun and always managed to make me feel at ease around him. He acted just like his older brothers and was seemingly a player but because he was younger than me I didn't panick when he joked around with me as long as he kept his hands away from my body and limited the times he touched me.Brad was 5'5, had hazel eyes and blonde hair, completed with a buff body.
Derek was the cutest Wain boy and was the baby of the family. At the age of five, he was the only boy that was allowed to comfort me and give me hugs without triggering and memories. He was a sweety and continually attempted to make me smile. He had blue eyes, the same as the triplets, dark brown hair, and two dimples that were always visible on his smiling face.
"Good morning," I greeted the table as I sat down.
"Morning sweety, are you ready for school?" Rose asked.
"A little nervous," I replied through the butterflies partying in my tummy. "Don't worry. we'll be around you all day, and show you the place," Cory told me as he stuffed his face with pancakes.
Cory was the sweetest of the triplets and someone I would have easily been friends with before my parents murder. He was the quitest of them but was in no way shy. He was 17, had icy blue eyes, dark blond hair and loved to paint.
I gave him a timid smile, not yet entirely comfortable around the older Wain boys even though I had been living with them for a little over two months.
"Thanks, because if you leave me I'll be totally lost," I joked trying to get over my fear. Living with them would be so much easier if I wasn't always worried or scared. They weren't Michael and I needed to start trying to forget what he did.
