As I went near the door I couldn't shake off the feeling of being watched I mean after all there is a beast out in the woods I step out and the cold hit me hard as I shiver but shake it off as I go back inside putting on my jacket which was blue and insulated with my hoodie underneath I was warm I walk out slowly marching through the snow but one thing got my intention I saw. Blood on the wood pillars holding up the roof I stood there just starring thinking "maybe that's don's blood" or "maybe I should make everyone else pack up and we needed to go" but I've done none of those things I just stood there frozen in fear until I heard Corbin's words saying "hey you okay down there"as Kyle said"yeah what's out there?" I just continued to stare but broke out of the trancelike state of mine and stuttered out "Y-Yeah just get ready we need to get out of this forest quickly"as corbin agreed kyle still wanted to see his friend saying"no we must find don!" Or "we can't just leave him" as he looked out the window and saw something that made him shut up he pointed towards the evergreen outside and corbin walked behind him and saw what it was the stood there frozen as I walked over look at the evergreen I then saw. Dons body his intestines was ripped out and was rapped around his neck holding him up on the tree I was shocked and frozen not only but fear but just knowing that could be us here soon as Kyle muttered out"oh god no...NO THAT CANT BE HIM"he went down on his knees sobbing as corbin went down holding Kyle as he cried into Corbin's arms as I started to realize we needed to go"n-now we need to pack our shit before that...thing does the same thing to us "as Kyle said quietly "okay..."corbin nodded and I started to pack up everyone's stuff as I was doing so me and everyone else was getting ready for the hike to get back 1 hour later me and corbin,Kyle were ready as everyone had thick layers of clothing and flashlights we started to walk towards the door ignoring the body of our friend as we started to head our way back while walking I started to think of the time where me and my friends use to go to high school and had our own table to ourselves as we were the outcasts don and Kyle were close like brothers they wouldn't separate for long and if they did they talked about each other it was a bromance you can say but me and corbin kinda were close to idk why he cares for me I mean he invited me into this group of friends way back then in 5th grade just thinking about the hot days during the summer where all of us were down in the beaches of California it was nice....then I stoped thinking about that it was almost night and we didn't bring out tints I thought and said outloud"Oh crap!" Everyone stopped and looked at me and they said "what?" Then I said"we forgot our tints"I say as my heartbeat quickened corbin then said"uhhh guys whats that over there"as he pointed towards a beeping red light in the distance "that could be someone or a building guys we must go there!" Everyone nodded and we started to run towards there sooner than later we met the red light and it was a old radio tower as the light was from the metal tower above it I grew happy and went inside as I did the smell of musk filled the air and I turn around saying"well this is where we are going to stay" as I closed and locked the door behind us all. Then Kyle said"maybe we can radio for help I mean if the red light is working that means we have electricity" then corbin said"yeah but does anyone know how to work a com radio". As Kyle said "well I do when I get bored I play around with my dads radio and usually know how it works"as I said "then okay you call of help corbin look for anything that we can defend ourselves with and I'll make us something to eat" as everyone nodded and everyone did what they were told as I opened up a pack of jerky and put it on plates and grabbed out 3 water bottles from my pack handing one to each person and the plates aswell I didn't eat and just layed down on the old bunk bed as I then passed out then I had a dream about running from the monster and for some reason in my dream I saw carved into the trees around me was one word "Wendigo" as everytime I read it the more roars and screeches I heard from that thing I Then woke up I looked at my watch it was 6:00Am I stood up and started to wake everyone up saying"We have to go"or hurry up we need to go" I Then our on my clothing and waited near the door as I did I started to feel that sick feeling again but this time so worse that I threw up into the trash can as once I did I wiped my mouth and sat down leaning against the wall and staring at the other side of the room 30 mins come by and Kyle and Corbin walked out wearing thick clothing and they started to put on their boots as I stood up and walked to the door waiting. 5 mins went by as they were ready and I opened the door and my eyes went blind for a few seconds and the cold was so intense I shook and I started to walk the path we were on and corbin and don followed. 7 hours later while were stomping through the snow we heard branches breaking behind us as Kyle pulled out his gun aiming in the general direction we all just stayed quiet and didn't move an inch until a branch came flying out of no where hitting Kyle in the leg making him shoot his gun and the gun flew towards my foot and I grabbed it as Kyle screamed and cried out in agony and fear corbin ran over to him but before he get to him we saw the monster get near us when we got near Kyle and then I started to shoot at the damn thing it screeched again and I had to cover my ears as my nose started to bleed then I looked where Kyle was and he was gone with a trail of blood leading into the winter wasteland me and corbin stood there as we heard Kyle scream until he went silent Than we started to run we ran so fast that we were near our first campsite as it grew dark me and corbin didn't care we continued to run until we heard it behind us I started to shoot blankly into the forest not hitting anything and then me and corbin saw a cave and we ran into not caring what's inside as we ran into the darkness....
