Dolly heads to school, wondering about Jack and his way of saying 'hello' to his friends. Dolly heads over to her classroom, and the bell rings. After class, Dolly tosses a piece of paper to Jack.
Dolly's note to Jack
Jack, don't get me wrong, I'm still freaked out you were watching me and my mom talk through the window. But that's not going to stop us from being friends. Meet me at the fountain during lunch ( you can eat at the fountain with me). Hopefully Chad doesn't whoop me in my... okay I won't go there. See you then!
Your friend,
Dolly Quimby Smith
Jack gets the note the hard way. The note hits his head and he reads the paper. Jack decides he's going to meet her there. Jack's next class is the witchery class ( chemistry) of doom. When class starts, the teacher says "Okay class, today we will be dissecting a frog, you will also have homework today. That homework is to find and dissect a plant and bring it to class. Here are a few possible plants you can use." Jack feels as if he has to go to the bathroom to vomit.
"Oh, and if you ate breakfast and you're still full, you should go to the bathroom and do your business there, 'cus I don't want to see anyone vomit on the floor during class."
"That's fine by me. I'll just go to the bathroom and-"
"Jackson Lee Quimby, come to the office immediately!"
Jack is puzzled by the sudden class announcement and goes to the office, finding out why he was sent there.
Apparently, Chad had gone to the office and framed Jack for the trouble yesterday.
"And then, he punched me in the face! Just look at these pictures!" Jack is feeling confused, not knowing what is going on with Chad. Usually, Chad would just come for revenge on the person who stood up to him or ratted him out to the office. So THAT'S why me and Dolly didn't see him for the rest of the day! He was at his house, planning what he would do! But why? Why to his oldest friend??? Jack wondered, as Chad gave him a stare that would instantly mean YOU'RE IN TROUBLE NOW PUNK! HAH! Before Jack could say anything, Dolly appears looking as confused as he did when he got called up.
"DID I DO ANYTHING WRONG? ARE MY GRADES BAD?! IS IT ANYTHING TO DO WITH- oh it's Chad... why am I here then?"
"You all got called to the office for a reason, this nice boy said you two ganged up on him and bit his arm, is this true?"
"WHAT?" Dolly and Jack said in sync.
"First of all, I didn't do ANYTHING to Chad, he just slammed my head on the locker, and if you need proof of that fact, I can show you." Dolly pulls back her hair, revealing ten, a hundred, or maybe a thousand bandages. Dolly takes them out one by one, and finally reveals the scar the locker made to her forehead. The office lady then opens her mouth to say something, but then gets interrupted by chad when he says
"WHO KNOWS? SHE COULD HAVE GOTTEN THAT SCAR FROM M- I MEAN- FROM THE FOUNTAIN'S EDGES?! Ha ha ha...... right?" For the first time in forever, Jack can see tears in Chad's eyes, looking as if he's about to die.
Jack tries to comfort Chad by doing something, so Jack goes up to Chad and hugs him, feeling as if this were a gay love story. Afterwards, Jack lets go, realizing that Dolly and the office lady were looking at him. Shoot! What am I going to say now??? Dolly's going to notice! Jack tries to cover the evidence by saying
"It's not like we used to be friends o-or anything!!"
"I KNEW IT!!!!" Dolly says, with a smile that makes her look like an anime character.
"Uhh... knew what?"
"That you were friends with Chad one time in your past! What happened to that friendship?"
"It's none of your business, Dolly. So stay out of the subject or I'll... I'll..." It seemed like Chad was... worried about the subject. For once in her life, Dolly wanted to see more of Chad's old self.
