Chapter 24

After my rant on Instagram, I stand up grabbing my empty ice cream cup and throw it in the trash by the kitchen and went towards my bedroom. I saw Coco went with me. I closed the door and decided not to lock it because I know my brother or any one of them will come up here just to see if I'm okay. I went to my suitcase grabbed my night wear. I quickly changed into my maroon sweatpants wih matching pullover. I wiped my make-up off and sat on my bed.

I was just scrolling into my phone when I heard a knock on my door and the knock make Coco barked. I hold Coco and calmed her and give the person to come into my room. And I saw Hannah, I smiled at her and she closed the door and went beside me.

"How you feeling? " Hannah asked

"I'm fine." I replied while holding Coco in my arms.

"Are you and Jeff dating?" Hannah asked

"No, he just asked me out on a date." I replied and Hannah just grinned at me.

"Are you sure?" Hannah asked while wiggling her eyebrows at me.

"I'm sure, we are just gonna have our date anytime this week." I said and she squeal lowly since she didn't want to have the others scrambled into my room and asking what happened.

"Jeff is a kind, gentlemen,handsome, well somewhat smart, athletic,  VERY muscular and sweet young man." Hannah said and I agree with her.

"Yeah , he is." I replied while thinking about mine and Jeff's memories.

"You and Jeff are a cute couple. You guys are gonna slay Jess and Justin's relationship." Hannah said and I just smiled widely.

"You literally say mean words to Marcus on Instagram. " Hannah added.

"I just can't stop myself for defending myself. Sometimes I want to report him for cyber bullying & sexual assault. " I replied

"That's my bestfriend! " Hannah said and I just laughed.

"You're my bestfriend also. Just don't tell Zach , Jeff and Clay about what I told you." I said and she nodded and we both laughed. I yawned and Hannah looked at me.

"I'm going down to the others. You can go to sleep." Hannah said and I just went under the duvets and Coco cuddled up beside me.

"If anyone want to come here, let them." I replied and Hannah nodded and went outside my door and closed it behind her. I was nearly falling asleep when someone knocked on the door.

"Come in." I said and the person come in and I turned my attention to my door and I saw Jeff entered my room and I just sat up on my bed. Then he went up and sat at the bed beside me.

"Hey." Jeff said.

"Hey." I replied and Coco went into my lap.

"I just wanted to make sure your not mad about what Marcus said." Jeff said and I just lean my head to his shoulder.

"Yeah , I'm fine. I just wanted to tell what I'm feeling of how he is commenting harsh words on social media." I replied and I feel one of his hands snaked around my waist and the other one is playing with my hands.

"Coco seems to miss you a lot." He said and I just giggled

"Yeah, she sure did" I replied and Coco jumped off of my bed and went to hers by the end of my bed.

"I think she wanted us to have time for each other." I said and he just laughed. When he laughed I could feel him and chills went to my spine. Then I yawned , Jeff looked at me and smiled.

"You should go to sleep." He said and he put my head to the pillow and gave me a kiss on the forehead. But before he stand up I grabbed his arm and he looked at me.

"Can you sleep with me tonight? " I asked and he just smiled and nodded. He went under the duvets and pulled me closer to him. I turn my body to look at him. Both of us looked at each other's eyes and both of us started close the gap between us.
Then his soft lips were on mine, I closed my eyes and our lips moved in unison. I could feel fireworks explode inside my body. Both of us pulled away gasping for air and we both blushed and I just giggled and placed my head on his buffed chest. He wrapped his arms around my shoulders as I wrapped my arms around his waist.

"Is that the 'almost kiss' that Clay disturbed us?" Jeff asked and I just nodded and sniffed all of his scent.

"So, that means we're dating? " Jeff asked again and I just looked up to him

"I don't know. Did you feel anything when we kissed?" I asked and he just smiled.

"I feel fireworks through my body and when I'm with you my heart always fluttered especially when I hold your hands." Jeff answered and I smiled widely at him.

"How about you?" Jeff asked

"I feel the same way." I answered and he smiled.

"Then , would you like to have a date with me this coming Wednesday?" He asked and I nodded and I kissed him lightly on his lips.

"Of course." I said and he smiled widely.

"To be honest I'm afraid of your brother." Jeff said shyly and I just grinned at him.

"Wait, Bryce.  He's just sometimes scary when his over-protectiveness is on. He is just like that when there are boys who were looking at me. He likes you." I said with full confidence and he just chuckled.

"And besides he knows you since middle school. So you don't have to worry about him being defensive with me." I added and he nodded approvingly. Then I yawned and he looked at me.

"I think someone needs some sleep." He said jokingly and I sleepily glared at him and he laughed. I snuggled up closer to him and he kissed my forehead.

I inhaled his scent and I starting to fell drowsy. I closed my eyes and fall into a deep slumber.
