Chapter 28

After our little walk, we went back to the house. I removed Max's leash and make him run around the house. I put down Toulouse and Jeff put down Coco. We entered the living room and I saw the others eating cereals. Their eyes turned to me and Jeff and we just smiled innocently at them.

"Good morning guys! " I said and they just glared at us. I rolled my eyes at them and went to the kitchen with Jeff following behind.

"What do you want for breakfast?" I said as I faced Jeff.

"How about some eggs and toast." Jeff suggested and I nodded.

"Can you begin toasting the bread?" I tell Jeff and he grabbed the bread from the cupboard and he went by the toaster and and begin toasting. I grabbed the eggs from the fridge and cooked some scrambled eggs and some sunny-side up. Jeff placed 2 plates on the counter and he put the toast and I put the cooked eggs and Jeff grabbed the plates at the counter and he bring it to the dining table. I grabbed 2 glasses and put beside our plates and I walked to the fridge and get a carton of orange juice and I grab an apple. I placed and juice in front our plates and both me and Jeff sat and eat.

Bryce entered the dining room. He waved at us and he placed the used bowls in the sink then walked back to the leaving room. Me and Jeff ate quietly and after we finished our food Jeff grabbed our plates and put it in the sink. I thanked him for doing that and he smiled and grabbed my hand and hold it until we went to the living room. Ryan is the first one to noticed we entered the living room.

"C'mon let's go swim!" Ryan said and I giggled and nodded at him.

"You guys go change and we will wait for you outside." Bryce said and I nodded. I looked at Jeff

"Go change. I'll wait for you here." Jeff said and I let go of his hand and run upstairs and quickly changed. Once I'm done I run downstairs and I saw Jeff still at the living room sitting on the couch. I walked up to him and smirked. He stand up and grabbed me from my waist.

"You looked beautiful." Jeff said and I blushed and kissed him on his cheek.

"The others are at the beach because they really want to enjoy their time here." He said and he put his arm around my shoulder and both of us walked out of the house and went to the others. I saw Bryce , Zach , Monty and Scott are already swimming. Hannah and Jess are sitting in a blanket. Jess is on her phone while Hannah is reading a book. Clay, and Tony are sitting near the girls, while Tyler and Ryan are having a mini photoshoot. I let him join the jocks while I went back to the house and went to a cabin and grabbed my surfboard I put on the strap around my left ankle. I went by the beach a little far from the others. I saw the waves are not that rough so I decided to surf.

I went on my board and I started to paddle towards the waves. Once I saw a medium wave coming I am getting ready and I saw the others still not see me. My friends didn't know that I can surf even my bestfriends. I paddle away the wave then I pulled myself up and started to ride my surfboard towards the others. Bryce was the first one to see me and he yelled 'Surf's up sis' then the others saw me and I just smiled at them and when the wave started to decrease its speed I jumped off my board and started to swim where my brother is at.

Jeff looked at me with a suprised expression on his face, as well as the others. I carried my surfboard and when I reached at the shore, I take off the strap around my ankle then I was up in the air and being carried by Zach. I laughed and he set me down on the ground.

"You surf?" Jeff asked and I just sheepishly nodded at him.

"Yeah, I learned how to surf when I was 7." I said and their jaws hanged wide open except for Bryce.

"Do you want to go on a race?" Bryce asked while looking at me. I just went beside my board, he smiled and he ran back to the house and once he got his board I ran beside him and looked at each other and nodded. Both of us went into the water and starting to paddle towards the reef where a large wave is coming. I started to feel my adrenaline rushing through my body, I smiled. Once we where at the by the reef, we turn around and starting to get ready.

When I looked behind me I saw the incoming wave so I paddle away from the wave a I stand up on my board and ride the wave. I saw Bryce copied my actions but I'm way faster than him . Then my brother was washed off his board , I started to get worried but when I saw him lunged back into the surface to get some air , I was relieved. I finished the race and I won.

Once my brother arrived at the shore I run towards him and hugged him tightly.

"Don't do that again." I said while tears streaming down to my face and he hugged back tightly and rubbed my back to comfort me.

"Don't worry sis. I think my surfing skills are starting to fade. I won't leave you, I promise that. " He said and we pulled out of the hug and wiped my tears away. I smiled at him and I kissed his cheek and enjoy our time here by the beach.
