I could only gap in amazement at the sheer size of the place I had stepped into, the outside did nothing to justify just how large this place really was despite the massive exterior. I could hear the heels of my boots click against the marble floors, I tried to step as quietly as I could to no use. My presence was no doubt known throughout the castle by now, especially with my vocal entrance.
"Lucille?" I called out, my hands wrapping around my arm's as I stepped deeper into the open space.
A few paces away I could see a fireplace blazing to life with its embers burning bright, lighting up the entire place enough to reach a few corners. I looked around as I moved my hair from my face, cautiously walking up the stairs.
"Anyone?" I called, I carried myself up the stairs slowly, unsure if I would see anyone that was friendly enough to tell me if my sister was indeed staying here. "I'm sorry to intrude like this. I was just wondering if my sister, Lucille, had found shelter from the storm in here?"
With no answer, I only grew worried, what if this place was abandoned? What if Lucille went in here at all and I had only wondered into a strangers home?
The thought made me stop as I reached the second story, beside me on either side was a darkened hallway, one leading to a west wing and another an east wing with stairs spiraling upwards at the far side, the door leading up to it open wide. I began walking forwards into the hallway, my eyes glancing up at the beautiful scenery despite the darkness surrounding me. The chandelier on the ceiling, the pillars along the railing, even the small balcony overlooking the fireplace and front door.
"Le...me...go, you...beast!"
I paused in surprise before I felt my fear fade quickly as I began running down the hallway, "Luce?" I began, as I heard the voice quiet considerably before I started up the staircase hurriedly. "Lucille!"
I could hear my sister gasp in shock, "J-Jose? J-josie! Josie!" I could hear her call for me desperately her voice coated in relief, I could practically see her standing up from where she was at the shock of me being here.
I round a corner as I made my way up the stairs, I found myself in a dungeon, the bars layered with metal and the only way to open them seemed to need a key. I ran down the rest of the hallway before gasping as I found my sister behind one of the prison bars, I sank down to my knee's in front of it. "Lucille!"
"Josette!" She exclaimed happily, her hands reaching through the bars to grasp my face ass if hardly believing I were real, tears were blurring her vision. Her hair was down for once, her normally put together outfit was torn and wrinkled in different areas, but other than that she was fine. "Oh I can't believe you're here!"
