"How is your hair so tangly?" Shiro asks, tugging through it with a comb.

"I don't use conditioner." I shrug.

"I'm disowning you." He jokes.

When he finishes de-tangling my hair, I look at him.

"When Hunk comes over, you better be wearing pants." I glare at him. Today, he has the classic banana briefs.

"We're all dudes. We have the same parts." He shrugs.

"It's not me or one of your boyfriends." I remind him. "You gotta look presentable, and not like a 40-year-old dad."

"Fine, fine." He rolls his eyes, reaching for a pair of sweatpants slung over the back of a chair.

"Those are mine." I inform him.

"Should have thought of that before you left them there." Shiro cackles. "Besides, you let Matt steal your socks all the time."

"He looks so cold!" I explain. "It's not my fault he wears sandals everywhere!"

The doorbell rings.

"Crap. I don't have a shirt yet." My eyes widen.

"I'll get it." Shiro shrugs.

I groan internally and pick up the nearest shirt.

Great.

It's the cat meme graphic tee Adam gave me for my birthday two years ago.

Who am I kidding? I can't just not put thought into what shirt I'm gonna wear!

I consider a button-up, but that seems to formal. I just keep on my pyjama shirt and toss on a jacket to hide the holes in the arms and back.

When I leave the room, Hunk is just taking off his vest and boots.

"Fanny packs?" Hunk is looking at our coat closet.

"They're convenient." Shiro explains.

"Right! I don't know what Pidge is always on about." He grins.

"You know Pidge?" We ask in sync.

"She's always helping me with my engineering." He tells us. "She's a goddess for homework. She gives you all the answers and coffee. How do you guys know her?"

"I'm dating her brother." Shiro smiles.

"So that's who you're marrying?" He looks at his finger.

"Uh, that's Adam." He looks down a bit, obviously recalling their fight.

"So, polyamory?"

"Yeah!" Shiro beams. "Most people don't guess that!" He pauses. "Would you like a drink of something?"

"I'm fine." He declines. I show him the bathroom, and then the living room.

"Your dad looks really young." Hunk comments.

"Dad?" I snort. "Shiro's my roommate!"

"He feels like a dad." Hunk insightfully elaborates. I couldn't agree more.

"Do you play video games?" I ask awkwardly.

"A few." He shrugs. "Me and Lance play Call of Duty, and he alway kicks my ass. His online name is literally 'Sharpshooter'."

"Well, here's our selection." I open the disc caddy.

"That's a lot of Final Fantasy." His eyes widen.

"I'm convinced Matt would be a millionaire if he didn't buy all those." I joke.

"Woah, is that Goldeneye?" He chuckles. "Like, Goldeneye with the bad graphics?"
