After Mal-Draco's apology, they pick up their study again. The blond was internally beaming as the boy with raven hair read silently. In addition to having Harry as his Godfather's potion partner, Draco also was able to convince the raven-haired classmate to study with him. INSIDE HIS ROOM! The blond's biggest desire had come true.

It's no secret that Draco Lucius Malfoy is obsessed with Harry James Potter. Well... it's more of an open secret to the rest of Hogwarts that he is in love with the young lad. There isn't a day that goes by that the blond boy doesn't preach about how repulsive Potter's gleaming, dazzling emerald eyes are, or how dreadful his peachy, soft voice is whenever he talks.

But in all seriousness, Draco genuinely loves Harry. He would discreetly support him throughout quidditch games. The way the young teen with raven hair moves quickly on his broom as if he were born to fly. He passionately hoped that he would have an opportunity to court Harry, that would make him the happiest wizard in the whole entire world.

He vividly recalled how he met the young teen. They were out shopping for the essentials for the upcoming school year in their first year. From the most expensive quill crafted from the finest feathers by phoenix wings to the most exquisite wand that any pureblood can acquire, everything he purchased was incredibly pricey and without marking a dent on the family vault.

He was therefore startled when the most precious individual entered Madam Malkin's. The most sought-after person in the entire Wizarding World, Harry Potter, entered the store. He was so small and, um, cute? Harry Potter is adorable; to say he's cute is an understatement. Simply stunning! He has to have him. So he started bragging and rambling about his broad understanding of Hogwarts right away. The blond's conversation on magic and the background of the Hogwarts house captivated the Golden youngster.

After Malkin declares Draco is finished. He was reluctant to leave Harry alone. He contemplated staying or leaving, but he ultimately chose to go because he couldn't make his parents wait. He strolled outside the shop, gave Harry a nod, and waved him off.

He ran to where his parents were waiting. He instantly pleaded with his father to let him have someone. Narcissa was amused while Lucius was in complete disbelief, but they both wondered, 'Who has won our Dragon's heart?'. Of course, parents have to teach their son that buying someone is wrong, regardless of how wealthy they are. Of course he was disturbed, but what really concerned him was that he was about to harm his beloved Harry! He promised to love and guard Harry Potter.

But when he declined his hand, things went south. He accused the Weasel and the Muggle born Know-it-all of stealing his Harry. In order to win the Golden Boy's attention, he bullies him nonstop, but in the process, he makes his beloved's life miserable. He learned how to become decent and no longer a brat calling for his daddy.

He shook his head from his stream of thinking and started to jot down the details he had gathered from the book. He checked the grandfather clock's time display. Dinner was set to begin as dusk drew near. The teen observed that the boy with raven hair was tired as he turned to face him. He must be worn out.

He picked up his book and walked over to where the teen was sitting. He placed the books from the library on his desk while returning the ones from his own collection to its shelves.

Harry was already out and sleeping while sitting when Draco turned around. Harry was taken to the bed by Draco because it didn't appear to be cozy. He lay his beloved Golden boy on the bed, contemplating whether to wake him or let him sleep. If he let him stays, it will appear suspicious that Harry Potter was sleeping in his bed. Potter would have trouble avoiding Filch and Ms. Norris if he wakes him up. . .

"I'll let him stay."

Draco controlled his voice to be sure he wasn't speaking loud enough to wake Harry. The teen turned out the lights and created a blanket and pillow for himself to sleep on the coach.

And he was out.

There was a faint whimper inside the chamber in the middle of the night. It wasn't audible at first but eventually got louder. Although it was loud enough for Draco to hear, it wasn't loud enough for the whole of the Slytherin dorm to hear. He quickly opened his eyes and started searching for the cause of the cries. His gaze strayed to the teenager dozing out on his bed. He sprang up and began to scurry toward Harry. "Harry!" He spoke softly into the boy's ears to rouse him. "Harry! It's okay, they're just a dream. They aren't real." Draco cried out.

Harry awoke after a few more shakes and sweepings of his damp hair. He initially felt lost but soon began to pay attention to his surroundings. "Whe-where am I?" Harry asked, evidently still in a daze.

"It's alright you're safe."

"Wha-what happened?"

"Shh.. breathe, it's alright."

He makes an effort to soothe Harry. Harry had settled down after a few breathing exercises and soothing gestures. It was three in the morning when he looked at the time. Knowing he wouldn't be getting any sleep any time soon, Draco sighed. Nevertheless, that was okay since he would do anything for his beloved. The blonde sat close to the ravenette. Do you want to discuss it? Draco enquired in an effort to console his cherished child. While shaking his head no, Harry yearned to speak out. "I-I should go, I'm sorry for disturbing you." No, he's leaving! 'He'll be caught if he goes out!' Draco would not let that happen.

He took Harry by the wrist and hugged him. Draco embraced Harry from behind, refusing to let go out of fear that everything would return to normal and he and Harry would become rivals. Time seemed to stop when he embraced him so firmly. Draco felt gentle hands resting on top of his just as he was ready to release.

"I'll stay. . . for a bit."

Harry broke the silence between them. He sat down on the bed, pleased that Harry would be staying, even if only briefly. Harry was flustered. Draco and him sharing a bed together! The ravenette blushes involuntarily. He lay next to Draco while closing his eyes and taking a big breath.

Internally, Draco and Harry were both appreciative of their choices.

'Maybe, we have a chance.'

'Maybe, we have a chance.'

Both of them pondered. The two boys shut their eyes and went to sleep.
