Chapter 1

WOODS

He is busy doing his pack paperworks when suddenly his beta and close friend opened his office door face full of panic and concern. "What's wrong beta dixon? " he asked  calmly "t-t-the l-l-luna i-is... " the beta didn't finish what his going to say because his alpha ran out off the office like his ass is on fire. He ran from his office towards his room where he smelt and felt his wife and mate in pain. When he opened the door he saw his pack doctor assisting his wife in labor. He rush to his wife's side holding her hand and giving her forehead a lingering kiss. "It's going to be okay baby" he whispered in her ear. "Ok luna push!! " the pack doctor encourage her "nnnggghhh" her face full of pain forehead full of sweat In vice like grip on her husbands hand. It's like that for fourteen hours and there born the future leaders of bloodhound pack. Alexander DeLuca and Celestine DeLuca.

  8 years later  

"Celest wait up!!!" Alexander ran after his younger sister who is so full of enegry in her small body. Celest little sister of alexander adored by all the pack members and respected for her mature and serious demeanor in a situation if needed even if she was still a 8 years old. Alexander who like to keep himself away from others still adores and love her sister to death even though Celest who is the energetic and always find amusement in everything she does and alexander who's an introvert and rarely speaks. Too different from each other but still inseparable and can't work without the other.

She ran in the forest of the capital where her mother and father's meeting is held.  She stopped running when she heard a cry from a distance.

For a 8 year old alpha pup she has heightened senses which is quite rare for a pup. She walked towards the noise she looked through the bushes and saw a girl crying her heart out. For some reason she felt like she needs to protect this small girl so she crouch down beside the girl "are you okay? " she asked the girl full of concern in her voice the girl looked at her and sob some more her cries grew louder that on instinct celestine wrapped her tiny arms to the little girl who stopped crying instantly"shhh, your alright I'll stay here with you please don't cry" she cooed the girl and the girl hugged her "your so warm" the girl mummbled celestine giggled and unwrap her tiny arms to the girl she took the girl's hands and pulled her up "come with me" she state the girl just nodded she beamed at the girl then they started walking

"what'syour name?"she asked the girl behind her holding her hand for dear life
"Stella"she whispered "cute name" they walked out the forest where she saw her brother frantically looking for her she ran towards her brother while dragging stella behind her "alex!!" She called out her brother who turned his head towards the voice she looked at her sister and ran towards her "don't ran and disappear like that" he scolded her sister and hugged her putting his head in the nape of her neck smelling her scent instantly calming his self. Like celest her brother also has hightened senses he let go of her sister holding her on arms lenght and looking in her grey eyes with blue in them. She look back at her brother's blue eyes with grey in them. They just stared at each other like they haven't seen each for so long until she remembered stella behind her she broke their staring and beamed at her brother "alex meet my new friend stella" she pulled stella from behind and present  her towards her brother. Alex looked from his sister who's smilling from ear to ear to the little girl in front of him.  He was greeted with the most beautiful green eyes he ever seen. He was looking at her with awe and felt like he knew her all his life. He felt like the need to protect this little girl at all cost and it was the first time considering alex is not a friendly and open towards new people well all people except his sister and parents and his over bearing sometimes grandparents on both sides. "Hi" he greeted breathless and celest snorted at her brother's dumb way of greeting  which alex ignored "h-hello" stella greeted back clutching at celest dress for dear life and hiding at celest side.  Alex found Stella's greeting adorable and just smiled at her lovingly. "Well dear brother where is mom and dad?" Celest asked her brother "inside they just finished their meeting" answered alex still looking at stella who's hiding at celest side "why?" He asked as celest was about to walk "well I'll introduce stella to them" she simply said and walked towards the mansion of one of the councillors once inside she sniff the air to find her parents scents. She walked once again after she sniff their scents they walked through the halls alex behind them still looking at the little girl holding at celest hands "stop staring aat her dear brother she might disappear " celest teased her brother who in returned blushed like a tomato  celest just laugh at her brother's reaction after their long walk which only took 5 mins.  They finally saw their parents who's talking with a man a close family friend to be precise who is also a councillor, Demetrius Duncan "mom!!" Celest called out dragging the 'm' longer than necessary her mother turned around and flash them a smile she held her arms out for them.  Instantly alex and celest ran towards to their mother while celest still holding Stella's hands celest giggled and let go she present once again stella in front of her mother "mom this is my new friend stella,  stella this is my mother Selene DeLuca" she introduced them both to each other and beamed at her mother who stared at stella with unreadable emotion "mom? ,what's wrong?" Celest asked her mom who still stared at stella on instinct she shielded stella not just celest but also alex. "Where did you met her celest?" Her mother asked with no emotion in her voice like she's not talking to her mother but the leader she was before she was mated to her father. "In the forest mom" she answered her mother with caution in her voice which did not go unnoticed by her parents and the councillor Duncan. "Why are you in the forest little girl?" Selene asked the stella as soft as she can for she was wary of the little girl why?  Beacuase she is a witch.  "My mommy and I are running away because our house was on fire my daddy didn't come with us but promised us that he'll follow. But for 2 days he didn't come mommy and I continued walking until there are wolfies with red eyes came they chased us, mommy told me to stay in the tree and hid until she comes back but she didn't come back she left me alone last night and she didn't came back." Stella explained while she cried and broke down after she finished explaining celest and alex made a growl which surprised their parents and councilor Duncan for they are so protective to this little girl celest hugged the little and cooed her alex also pat her head soothingly like the little girl is made of glass the twins' affection towards stella made her parents proud and some kind confused for their twins to act this protective to this little girl is very rare they acted like she's their sister.  "Ok then" selene broke the silence the children look at her and she smiled "do you want to live with us?" She asked stella she don't know why but if her children are this protective she thought wjy not bring her home though some pack memebers might disagree for witches are not bad not all still she just can let this little girl fend her self alone in the forest. The twins looked shocked and looked at selene like she just gave them their Christmas gifts stella looked down at the floor and celest squeeze her hands and look at stella in the eyes "you can live with us in one house we can play all the time and we will be there with you all the time. Do you want that?" Celest asked stella looked at her and nod vigorously celest bemaed and hugged her she look at her mother who nodded. And that's how they met.
