A thousand years later...

In a dorm room of Eternal University.
A teenage boy is currently lying in bed, unmoving like a corpse. When a sudden blinding purple-gold light flashed for a second before disappearing.

The eyelids of the teenage boy in the bed suddenly twitched, and opened. He blinked twice and sat up from the bed. Handsome face, somewhat pale, thin stature that looks malnourished. But the most shocking about the boy is his eyes. Violet hue pupils, with traces of lingering gold speckles. The eyes are very enticing and bewitching, seemingly very odd for a boy to possess them.

He also exudes the aura of knowledge, wisdom and intelligence. A moment later, those gold speckles in his eyes recceded back and suddenly disappearing within the depths of his violet pupils.

"Haa... Looks like my efforts this past months are worth nothing. Dammit!" The boy sighed and said deeply frustrated in his heart. After hesistating for moment, he gritted his teeth and took an old ancient looking book under his bed. The ancient book looked like it has a million year history, judging from how old it looks. It has a faintly discernable word in front of the book.

"What is this anyway? All I can read is the word Grim, as for the other half. Sigh." The boy scratched his head as he tried to figure out the book. As he was deep in thought, a knock suddenly sounded out at the door of his dorm.

"Who is it?" The boy asked.

"Open up! You trash!" A harsh voice full of arrogance called out on the other side of the door. As for the boy, after hearing this familliar voice, his face paled a little bit as he gripped his hands until it dug into his hands.
Blood then started to drip as he gripped his hands tight. Just as he was about to succumb into his anger, he suddenly remembered something and calmed down.

"Hoo.. I'm coming." He said in a flat voice, while his face expressionless.

"Heh, you are not that useless after huh." The person at the other side of the door snickered as he banged the door impatiently.

The boy stood up and walked to open the door, blood still dripping from his hands. He didn't notice though that a drop of blood accidentally dropped at the ancient book and was suddenly absorbed by the book. As the blood is being absorb, the ancient word in front of the book glittered in gentle violet light as it became more clearer.

After a few second of glisttening, it went back to it's normal look and the word blurred again.

As for the boy, he is currently being beaten up in the combat hall. The reason he is being beaten up by this bunch of people is because of a bet. He lost to his bet and he doesn't even have enough money to pay up for it.

"Hmph! He doesn't even have a single copper coin in his person and he still dared to bet with us?! What a waste!"

"Yeah! So what if his older sister and brother are disciples of Illustrious Sword Sect? They may even have forgotten him a long time ago!"
