A week had passed since Dipper and Bill had basically confessed and had a lot of make-out sessions.
It was the weekend.
Dipper was home, just looking at things on his phone. He scrolled through Bills instagram photos, liking almost all of them. Except one.
Posted a day ago.
"Wish me good luck" The picture said. Bill had taken a picture of an airplane.
Why good luck? Why had Dipper not known Bill was leaving? Was Bill leaving? All Dipper knew was that suddenly he was at Bills door, knocking hard. The door swung open, Mauve was standing there, her hair an absolute mess. She was wearing very fuzzy-looking pants with owls on them. She had on a lilac colored long-sleeved shirt. Her hair seemed like lava, just with spiky hair poking out. "Yes?" She said.
"Where's Bill?" Dipper was panting, after all, normally it was a 10 minute walk, but Dipper had ran. And it only took him like 5 minutes.
"Er, he-he.." Dipper noticed dark circles around Mauve's eyes. Her cheeks and eyes were both puffy. 'Did she cry?' Dipper thought. Dipper took a step to Mauve and held her in his arms, in a brotherly-protective way. "He had to go- choke- to-sob- Alaska."
"Why Alaska?" Dipper asked, rubbing Mauve's back.
"Because- B-because..." Mauve pulled away and looked down. "I'm not allowed to-sniff- tell."
Dipper texted Mabel.
