A knock on the door made you aware that your wonderful girlfriend, pidge had arrived. You invited her because you hadn't got to speak to her in months... we'll not exactly, you'd Skyped every now and again while she was away on missions saving the world (you were very proud of her for that), but that was nothing like speaking to her in person. If this very long-term relationship had continued any longer you would've gone insane. You just missed her so much!

You rushed down the staircase to your front door stumbling a bit as you pulled on your jeans. Just as you opened the door you attacked her with hugs and kisses. Pidges cheeks and the tips of her ears were a bright red of which she blamed on the cold winter air.

You invited the petite girl in as you both sat on the edge of your bed sharing a fuzzy blanket. You talked of everything she'd done in space and all of the things you'd done here on earth (which wasn't quite as interesting). Eventually it had turned into you laying on your side and pidge nuzzling her head into your chest. Pidge wasn't the most touchy person when it came to most people, but toward you she'd want to be touching you all the time.

After a while of talking and just sitting in a comfortable silence grumbles came from both of your stomachs.
"Oh!" You remembered "I made you peanut butter cookies!"

The two of you raced down toward your kitchen as you popped open the lid to the cookie jar. Pidge was so excited! (What a dork)

You spent the rest of the night eating peanut butter cookies and talking about space. But after a while pidge had to leave, she only had a few hours to visit you on earth; she had to make her way back to the ship to continue her duties as one if the paladins of voltron.

You hugged her not wanting to let go. The two of you were going to miss each other so much.
After you broke away, pidge tried to walk out in that freezing winter weather in just a shirt. Isn't she supposed to be the brain of voltron? Has she even heard of hypothermia?? You grabbed hold of her wrist, pulling her close to you. You sighed and told her to wait right there as you went to grab your sweater.
"Take my sweater, you'll need to get to the ship without getting hypothermia." You said
Pidge smiled and pecked you on the lips"and everyone will know that I have been in love tonight, a permanent hug from you"
