"Listen we need to talk" Joel told me. "But not here. Sonny could be listening." "Wait, so it's about Sonny. If it's something bad, I don't wanna know" I said shunning him. "Just come with me into my car."
He pulled my arm, taking me into his Nyan Cat decorated Ferrari. "Okay, Sonny's been planning something big for you. So I've brought your inhaler so you won't have an anxiety attack." "How did you know I have anxiety. Only me Tjuana, and my mom knows."
"I do my research." He grinned widely at me. "Okay?". I got up out if the car. Well I hope I'm getting a surprise, i mean for crying out loud. Tomorrow is August 29th my birthday. Whatever, I walked back inside and sat on the couch with no expression.
Suddenly someone roared at me. I screamed,"What the freak! Sonny!" "Sowy. Whatcha doin tomorrow?" "I don't know. Probably relaxing. Why?" "Nothing. Just wondering." "Mhmm I'm on to you." "What's that in your hand?" "What are you talking about?" I said hiding the inhaler behind my back.
He pulled my hand out. "What's this?" "Anxiety inhaler. The pills are in the bathroom" I said sadly. "So we've known each other for two years, and I'm just finding out about this?" he started to tense up. "I didn't want you to be worried about it. And that's how my last relationship failed."
"Nay.." he calmed down. "I would never leave you." I looked at him smiling I gave him a big hug. "What happened in here?" Diggy asked. "Oh nothing Digs" I replied. "So.... what are we doing for my birthday?" I asked. "Nothing at all" Sonny told me. "Mmkay, I could relax." I said laying back putting my legs on Sonny's lap.
(TIME JUMP)
I wake up and see everyone not here except for Tjuana on the couch. "Where's Sonny?" I asked "Oh you're awake. Diggy and Sonny went shopping." "Oh" "Yup and later you and i are going out for a while. So go get dressed." I got up and took a quick shower and went into the closet and looked for an outfit.
I wore a tank top and I put a grey Hollister jacket over it with denim jeans and black vans. Tjuana had on a white crop top with the Zedd logo on it in light blue with light colored ripped jeans and white converse. My hair was in a messy ponytail. Tjuana put her hair in barrel curls. Recently in Florida I got the ends of my hair dyed a light brown.
We went over to the mall and I saw Sonny holding a tiny black box. "Hey Sonny" I yelled. Tjuana noticed and pulled me into a store. "What's that all about?" "Oh nothing. Just thought we could look at these clothes." "Tjuana you know I don't shop at Sears. It's just not me." "Oh well um. Let's look in Rue 21" we walked into the store looking at some tees.
"Hey, how come I can't I see Sonny" "Psh, he doesn't want to see you wearing that." "Okay?" we walked out the store. We went over by Kay's Jewelers to look at some necklaces and earrings and stuff. I picked out these 23kt diamond stud earrings. They were so shiny and beautiful. Also I got me and Sonny matching Pandora bracelets.
Tjuana got a text from someone and told me that we're going home. We pulled up in our driveway and walked inside. "SUPRISE!" Everyone yelled. All me and Sonny's friends were there. I couldn't stop smiling.
Later everyone were chanting something. "Sonny! Sonny! Sonny!" What? Sonny walked up to me and pulled out that little black box from earlier. He stopped right in front of me. Everyone got silent. He got on one knee. Wait could this mean?
"Nay Alise Hines, will you marry me?"
