Chapter 23

Julie's POV

It's been a couple months since our move to California. And now I am 6 and a half months pregnant. And today, were going to know if we're having a boy or a girl.

So I was just laying in the bed, keeping my eyes closed for a bit. I was really tired. Last night we had our neighbors over, and they didn't end up leaving until midnight.

I looked over at Louis, and seen him still sleeping. So I decided to leave him, and make some breakfast.

I wanted to make some pancakes. I haven't had those in a while. They sounded really good right now too.

"Morning sweet pea." I said, as I looked over my shoulder to see Louis looking in the refrigerator.

"Ooh, making breakfast I see?" He asked, eating some grapes.

"Yep. Pancakes and fruit salad. You hungry?" I asked, adding more fruit to the bowl.

"Of course. How you feeling this morning?" He asked, running my shoulders.

"Great. Remember, what we get to do today?!!" I said, very excitedly.

"Yes, how could I forget? I can't wait to see what we are gonna have." he replied.

"Yep. And for names, for a girl, I'm thinking Madison Rose, and if we have a boy, Ryan Elliot. You like?" I asked, sipping my water.

"Aw, I live those names. You did a great job babe." He said, kissing my cheek.

I finally managed to finish breakfast. I kinda lost track, and 1 or 2 pancakes got burnt. But oh well. It will get eaten sometime.

"Mmh, these are so good." Louis said, with his mouth full.

Awhile after breakfast, we were ready to go to the doctors office. And I told my mom to

Meet us there. She wants to be there.

"Hey, go park by the ramp over there. Please?" I asked, rubbing his arm. "Yeah, sure thing." He remarked.

When we got into the waiting room, there was a whole bunch of other expectant mothers here. But I was more focused on hearing my name.

"Um, Julie Tomlinson. Were ready for you now." The doctor said. "Okay." I said, grabbing all my papers.

He lead us to the ultra sound room. And we saw our new doctor. It was kinda cold in there.

"Hello. I'm your new doctor, Dr. Middleton. Nice to meet you, Julie and Louis." She said, shaking our hands.

We were ready to see if we were having a boy or girl. The gel she put on was even Colder than the room.

"Well, heartbeat sounds normal. But..." She said.

"But what?" I asked, very concerned.

Lou's POV

"But there are 2 heartbeats." The doctor continued.

"Oh, thank goodness. Wait, twins?" O asked, dumbfounded.

"Yes, twins. And a boy and a girl." She continued.

"Oh my gosh! Lou, did you hear that!! Were having twins!! Ahh!" Julie said, squeezing my hand.

"Yes! Im very excited babe. Now we can have our Sadie and Landon." I said, kissing her forehead.

"Well, congrats you two. I will get these pictures, get ya cleaned up, and you can be on your way. And then we will see you for a follow up." Dr. Middleton exclaimed.

"Okay. Thanks so much." I said, taking the ultrasound pictures.

"Wanna call Harry and the guys When we get home to tell them the news?" I asked.

When I heard no response, I looked over at Julie and put my hand on her shoulder.

"Yeah sure. Im tired, lemme sleep till we get home. Please." She said, in her sleepy voice.

"Yes. Now relax. And I love you." I said, rubbing her shoulder. "Love you too." She replied.

It took us an hour to get home, and by the time we got home, Julie was still asleep.

"Come on Julie. Were home. I'll come and help you." I said, going to the passenger side of the car.

"Mmkay." She mumbled. "Don't forget the pictures Lou." She said, and leaned up against the house door. "Got them." I replied, opening the door.

I took her up to the bedroom, so she can go back to sleep. I was debating if I should call them while she was sleeping, or if I should wait.

"Lou!! I need you." She shouted from the room. "I'm coming." I replied, going up the stairs.

"What do you need Julie?" I asked, sitting next to her. "Wanna call the boys? Or Skype?" She asked.

"We can Skype. I'll go get my iPad." O said, getting up. "Thanks!" Julie replied.

I came back upstairs, and Julie had the ultrasound pictures.

"Ready?" I asked. "Yep. Get em' up and on the screen." She said, scooting closer to me.

"Hey! Guys! Its Louis and Julie! Hey!!" Niall said, sounding very excited. "Hey guys! We got some good news!!" Julie announced.

"Yeah and what's that?" Niall asked. "Take a look." I said, and she held up the pictures.

"Harry! Liam!! Zayynnnn!!!! Come here! Now!!" Niall shouted, and left the scene.

"What is it?" Harry asked, sounding like he just woke up, then he rubbed his eyes.

"Twins!! Their having twins!!!" Niall shouted, sounding like a kid in a candy store.

"Congrats Lou. And Julie! Can't wait to see those little babies." Zayn said.

"We have news too. Were planning on coming to California!." Niall announced.

"Really? And when?" I asked. "In like 2 weeks." Harry Interrupted.

"Oh, well you staying here?" Julie asked. "Um, no. We got a hotel room booked. But we will be visiting." Liam said.

"Okay, let us know when you guys get here, and we can pick you up or whatever." I said. "Okay. Talk to you later guys." Niall said, and ended the call.

A/N

How was that chapter? pretty good? Yeah! 2 chappies updated! Yyaaaayyyyy!!

But I am super sad for Ariana and Frankie. They lost their grandfather. And for Frankie to stay strong on BB16 is just truly amazing.

Well I'm gonna go to bed, been up all day. Updating in the morning!!
