I know I am a day late for the update, but I was a bit preoccupied with personal reasons. But I sincerely apologize for the same.

It was almost about midnight, as Nandini sat on her bed, still weeping. She couldn't get to with the fact that she lost Manik, for it felt like she had lost the part of her that kept her sane. A whimper escaped her parted lips, as she broke down into sobs again, only one name engraved in her soul. How was she going to survive?

The door opened and Nandini's eyes shot up at the tall figure that took slow steps towards her. It took a while for eyes to get accumosted to the darkness in her room, and she unconsciously flipped on her bed side lamp, to find Manik standing in front of her, a smile playing on his lips. She could feel her eyes stop blinking at all at his face.

Manik sat down near her, and lightly traced his finger all over her face, his thumbs gingerly wiping the tears off her chubby cheeks. Very softly, he leaned in to kiss her cheeks, and then looked her in the eye, shaking his head, asking her not to cry.

"Manik!", She sobbed as she flunged herself into him, embracing his tall figure, hiding her face in him. She couldn't believe he was here, with her, in the moment.
