PI Farmer

chapter 8

I harvested all my crops and sold some of my furniture like a rug and some hangers to get the new water tower for my farm. I put on the new logo for my farm.
The builders said the shipment will come in a month.
I look at the feather that the owner of the chicken shop gave me. I go to the library to see what type of chicken would have these type of feather.
In the library I walk toward the non fiction shelf and see the encyclopedia of animals. I open the book and on page 93 a feather falls out of the book. It is this same feather at the crime scene. The perp must have visited here.
"Excuse me Miss has anyone else accessed this book in the last week " I asked the lady at the circulation desk.
"Well all the children here and most farmers take that book of the shelf to see what animal would be best suited for their farm. But there was one guy who only opened it once he was kinda short and muttering a lot of mumbo jumbo" the lady replied.
"Thank you ma'am that really helps" I tell her and walk away.

I walk on this guy mutters and likes a certain kind of chicken were is this guy, and what happens to the chickens he captures? The questions are racing through my mind faster then I can come up with solutions. I can plant more crops for my farm money does not grow on trees, but hell I can try.

After spending all day fixing up my farm some more I go to bed. The farm is getting closer and closer to its original look hopefully I am making my dad proud where ever he landed.
