I head home knowing that the tool material will be there of all places and I see sis in the house.

"Sis you all good you're never here" I say to her.

My sister like to party and be out of the house as much as possible, so it is strange for her to be in this house.

"Why did you embarrass me in front of my boyfriend" she looks at me with hate in her eyes.

"Let me guess you found out that what I said was true and now your trying to blame me for your taste in men. Sis I am trying my best to protect you like dad asked, but it is harder now because you're gullible and date basically any guy who can talk to you without cringing" I lay it out for her.

" I am not like that I talk to a lot of guys yes, but I do not date them all and you think because dad sent you on this quest to fix me will help. News flash Benny was right you're worthless. You need to handle your jealousy Sky it will only hurt you in the end. Benny is the best thing that happened to me since you walked out of my life to be what a mystery hunter." she smirks knowing it would tick me off.

"Sis it is private investigation. At least I try to make other lives better unlike you. I took that field so I can pay your debts not mine. Guess what Benny is a man whore I think it is best to find out if he has any STDs because if you made it to bed you're most likely to be a health book full of them. I am not jealous I am safe and waiting for the right guy sure I have dated around, but I never slept with any of them and they were never the right one" I spat at her.

" He is healthy not a health book" she starts to tear up.

"Is he? You don't sound so sure. The clinic is always open in the next city over. I need to protect you because your the only family I have left. I need you here on the farm not in the hospital with a disease from your "boyfriend". I need you with me because Benny has already hurt you hasn't he? I know the mental pain he gives his lady of the weeks. I know the pain sis don't get caught on it let him and the pain go. Be free. Be the artist you wanted to be when we were little kids. Be the hero you needed then. Do what your heart agrees to not what society wants you to be" I express to her.

She give me the finger and walks out. Hopefully she will see that she is better than this. After that stressful situation ending the night in chinese food sounds lovely. If I am right wang has egg drop soup, orange chicken, and delicious spring rolls. The perfect stress food for 10 dollars.

After following the path to the chinese restaurant, I admire the thought that went into making the front unique. The jade dragons that line the pillars. The golden sign that says Wang's China. It was the same look it has had since childhood. I walk through the wood double doors and smell the savory chicken, the soy sauces, and the spices that go with the food. To interrupt the foodgasm the owner starts yelling at a man.

"You must pay for your food before you leave" Mr. Wang emphasizes.

"I told you I don't owe you anymore coins the meal was over salted and I could smell the animals working in the kitchen" the older gentleman says to Wang.

"We don't use salt to top our dishes sir and those are hard working men and women back there working to support their families they have raised. They don't need to hear your racist comments. The only animal your smelling is you so I suggest you pay your bill before my loyal customers smell you" Mr. Wang states with a frown.

"You sir have crossed the line I will file-"

"You will not file anything Mister, you know why because Wang has security cameras in this restaurant to protect his employees from people like you so I suggest you pay the bill in full and leave nobody forced you to eat here you could have eaten at home seeing as your waistline is hitting the table" I tell the old guy, "Racism is for the ignorant and does not belong here or anywhere for that manner so pay up before I file a formal complaint with you sir. I have experience in the court if you want to fight it, but my seniority over you in a case will guarantee me a win."

The older man's face turned a bright red and he stormed out.

"Thank you, but he still did not pay me the 5 dollars he owed out of the 6.50 that was on his bill" Mr. Wang says.

"I'll pay for that. You made my childhood here more delicious I have to repay you somehow" I smile.

"Did you come here with your sister and father all those years ago and ordered the same 10 dollar combo?" Mr. Wang remembers.

"Yes Mr. Wang and i'm here to order it again" I hand him 15 dollars.

"Same Sky wanna give the spicy sauce a try" he asks me knowing my old usual.

"I'll try it. I have grown a tolerance to spicy foods" this shocks him.

"Have a seat Sky your order will be ready soon and I will get you some milk just in case you can't handle the spice" Mr. Wang rushes to the kitchen.

I sit in my usual red booth next to the painting that is labeled "Jelly Dragon". The restaurant has not changed with its 4 booths, 3 oak tables, checkers floor, red and green walls, the 2 barstools by the register, and the other dragon pictures. Nothing seemed to have changed in this town. It makes me miss my dad and the memories I had here.

"Sky here is your order I hope you have not cheated on this restaurant" Mr. Wang says with a smile and walks away.

I see the egg drop soup with the spoon already in it. The steam is still coming off of it. I take the ice cubes from the water to cool it down. I see the plate of orange chicken and my mouth because a waterfall. I missed this so much. I grab my chopsticks and devour the chicken and its surrounding off the plate.  Then the egg drop soup, the city's chinese restaurant did not have this on the menu. I pick up the shovel like spoon and start slurping it up. With every slurp I taste the noodles, the egg, and the pepper. I miss the taste. After finishing that I see the spring roll and dunk it in the red sauce. The sauce was not as hot as I expected but I hit the yellow center which is the spiciest part a few times and the milk came in handy. After finishing my meal I stack my plates so the person who picks them up has an easier time. Wang walks over.

"I see you have finished the milk" He smiles.

"I hit the yellow sauce a few times, but the red sauce was sweet to me. Thank you Mr. Wang it was delicious and if you can thank the people who made the meal that would be fantastic" I start to head out.
"Some habits never die do they Sky thank you for coming tonight and it is just Wang now you have earned my respect" he walks away to help a new customer.

I walk home with a great meal in my stomach and go to bed.
