PI Farmer

Chapter 4

*1 week later*

"Knock, knock" the canadian twins say at the door of my tent.

I exit the tent seeing the twins with big smiles on their faces. 

"We finished your home come and see it, it is nice and pretty and has that new home smell hurry up you must see it" Liam says with rushed excitement.

We walk up to the house. The outside is a shiplap siding that is painted a light blue. It is a small cottage style house that has white trim around the windows. I love it. The roof is a darker blue. We walk up to the small steps which are a bright white. The door is a light purple with a semi circle window at the top. They open the door and I'm greeted by dark hardwood floors and dazzling eggshell white walls. Lining the walls is crown molding and beautiful designs by black swirls. Although it is only a one room house it has room to become bigger. There are the basic furnitures which all share the same bamboo look.  There is a little stove made with a blacksteel like product.

"The house is beautiful" I say to the twins. 

The twins look at each other and smile. 

"Unfortunately, we must take your tent and return it to the mayor. We must be off" Thomas says and the twins walk away.

What is this country's problem with walking away before I say thank you? I want to show you my gratitude. Now that the house is built and I've taken my walk inside the new house I walk outside and am greeted by a punk teen.

"Hello I'm only here because I have to be come to the general store, buy seeds and items from my boss's shop later" the kid walks away with a weird cowboy like walk.

I make my way to the town and see all the shops some are the same from when  I was a kid. The old general store is still here, a chinese restaurant, the mayor's house, the church, the jail with not a soul in it, the normal apartment building with the five insane residents, and the clothes shop with out of fashion clothes in the window. Most  of the town is the same there are a few add ons like the anime store, the taco stand, a park, a school, and a library that is all on the right of the road on the left is a office like building at least two stories high seeing that there is only two rows of windows. The bottom looks to be Uildersbay Inc. and the top is vacant no lights and no life seem to be there. Their are other paths that lead out of the town. 

I head to the general store so I can get the farm rolling. The punk kid sits outside the shop. I go inside the rusty shop and see an employee screaming and chasing a rat.

"Hey you help me get the rat out please" he begs.

I grab a broom and hit the poor thing like it is a hockey puck. It goes flying out the door and the employee closes it. 

" Thanks a million kid, I'm Jack Smith. I own this little shop for nearly 30 years" He says with a smile.

"Nice to meet you Mr. Smith, I am Sky, Sky Weldon, and I remember you sir you ran this shop while I was a child. My dad used to buy all his seeds here" I states.

"Sky Weldon is that you the tiny girl with pigtails and blue bows. I hope you are working on the farm now your sister has done nothing on it. She's never bought a seed here. I hope you restore that land it grew the best crops. You're so grown up now" Mr. Smith sniffles. 

" I am here to restore the old beauty worry not Mr. Smith. I am actually here to buy seeds and a few recipes to make some tools" I reassure him.

" Kid it is on the house you saved me from that vicious rat. He could have killed me I'll give you 3 starter seeds. The recipes you gotta get at Uilderbay Inc. they have better recipes for stronger tools." he says while handing me 3 seeds.

"Thank you for your help I won't let you or the farm down." I run off to Uilderbay and run into a problem.
