PI Farmer

Chapter 7

I woke up the next morning and got on my overalls today is the day I need to fix up the sprinkler system. I head down to my water tower and see it has a few leaks. Uildersbay Inc. might be able to fix it, or I can replace it all together and get a bigger  one. Watering my batch of crops is a half day job. I can sell them in a few days. 

I walk down to the Uildersbay Inc. to see their catalogue. They had purple, white, black, and an off brown. The white looked the best and my new logo for the farm. I hope to make the Weldon farm good again. I see the price and lose it. 150 dollars for a hunk of metal. I'm 50 dollars short. Maybe I can sell some of my carrots for 1 dollar a piece the same goes with the other produce, but then I would be 15 dollars short. I could sell some of my wood stock or my other materials to afford the new water tower.

After leaving Uildersbay Inc., I head home to fix up the sprinkling system. Luckily I was able to save dad's old sprinklers and fixed them to be clean water running through it. I leave to head back into my house and get ready to start the day tomorrow.

*the next day*

Knock. Knock.

I open the door.

"Hi, Sky. I am the owner of the Chicken shop and heard that you were a PI and I need your help someone is stealing my chickens but keep leaving an orange feather in his or her wake. My chickens have brown and white feathers, it doesn't make sense. Can you help me?" The owner asks.

" I am on the case" I reply.

"Good. Here is the odd feather and if you catch this guy I'll give you a free chicken and a nice reward" He leaves.

Wowie a real case I hope I can prove myself worthy for this town but where would a thief go? I should look around town for clues to where he might go.

Sorry guys this chapter took so long. I have been trying to think of how to set this up without it seeming like I rushed it this is also my shorter chapter maybe i should upload every saturday so the story is as good as it can be.
