(Y/N)'s POV

I walk around Lumiose City, scanning every single spot carefully, so I could find my friends. A cold wind passed, the trees ruffled, particles of dust from the road rose up into the air until they fall down again, and I tucked my hair beahind my ear. As a smile fell on my lips, my mind wanders to the incident that happened here at Kalos just a year ago.

That time, all five of us found out we were chosen by Arcues herself as the Five Golden Trainers, and she told us we were the ones to save the world from an evil organization that threatens to destroy Earth called Team Flare. I didn't get to actually battle them, for I was unconsious that time, but I do remember vaguely when I was in a dark room, lonely and scared, with a mysterious man looming above me. I couldn't tell exactly what happened, but I also definetely don't want to know.

Ash had told me, also, that Team Flare took my magic and used it for bad intentions, though as much as I try to recall it, my mind wouldn't cooperate with me. Serena explained to me as well that Ash saved me from Team Flare's control by using his love for me, which I blushed deeply at.

Ash and I have been in a relationship ever since that incident, and because they live at Kalos and my home is at Alola, we couldn't talk to each other in person, so every night, we'd speak to each other online.

Now, here I am at Lumiose City, walking around as I try to find them. I wanted to surprise them, and luckily enough, Clemont had told me earlier that they'll be here at the Lumiose Park to hang out together.

In what seemed like forever, I finally spotted a certain raven-haired boy sitting on one of the benches alongside Clemont, Serena, and Bonnie, all talking to each other. I watched as Ash said something I couldn't hear, followed by their laughter. From here, I could see how Bonnie dangles her feet from the bench.

A smile danced on my lips, and I srpinted towards them. When I was close to the bench they were sitting on, I suddenly stopped in my tracks as a smirk landed on my face.

Slowly, I went behind Ash, and quickly covered his eyes with my hand. The other three was alarmed, but their expression instantly turned into pure joy and excitement as they saw me. Before Bonnie could say something, however, I whisper, "Shh," to which she nodded.

"Who is this?" Ash asked me, struggling to get my hands off.

I smirked. "Guess who~" I say teasingly. Suddenly, he stopped, and I removed my hands from his eyes. He immediately turn towards me, eyes glistening with nothing but happiness, and grinned widely. I smiled sweetly back at him while putting both my hands behind my back as all four of them stared at with an expression of excitement.

"Did you miss me?"
