(Y/N)'s POV
Because we all just saw each other again after a long year, I decided that we should go to an amusement park here at Lumiose City, so we could all hang out and forget about everything.
It had been such a long year, and 12 months felt like it was 12 years. Without my friends, it was so boring. So, when summer vacation immediately started, I asked my parents if I could go back here at Kalos, to which they agreed to, much to my happiness.
I looked around Happy Land, my eyes shining with happiness and excitement every time my gaze falls on another attraction. Kids, teenagers, and adults all walked around the park, some holding a drink of food, while others just simply strolled to where they wish to go.
Later at the afternoon, after many rides and stalls, I found myself sitting face to face with Ash as we rode inside the ferris wheel. Outside, I could see the sunset and the beautiful purple sky.
The two of us were staring at each other's eyes deeply, not even aware of our surrounding anymore. Our only focus was each other.
Ash's lips suddenly turned into a sincere smile, and without a word, he lunged towards me and held me tightly. I was taken aback, and my eyes widen immediately. Awkwardly wrapping my arms around his back, I smiled to myself as I closed my eyes, sighing in relief. Oh, how I've missed his touch.
"I've missed you so much, (Y/N)," he said softly.
My heart warmed at that statement alone. "I missed you, too,"
REALLY short chapter. I know, I know, and I'm sorry. We just got home from our dorm and I'm SO tired. Again, I truly apologize. I swear I'll try to make the next chapter MUCH better.
