(Y/N)'s POV

His warm embrace made me feel better. It took all of my worries away. The nightmare I had just recently that always bothers me, seems like it didn't even happen just because of him.

The second he pulled me close and held me tightly, I felt as if I was on top of the world. I had closed my eyes and smile while I hugged him, too. It was a wonderful feeling I experienced that I never wish would ever end.

"I love you," we had both said, at the same time.

There were many people walking around, chatting and laughing, but the moment we uttered those three magical words, the whole world around me became suddenly silent, as though it was just Ash and I who were in the park.

I sigh as another smile dances on my lips, never wanting this to end. It was then that I realized how much I really missed him.

"Come on, let's go inside," I say to him, and with those words, I grabbed him by the hand and ran towards the park.

Ash's POV

When she hugged me back, I felt free. I felt like I could do anything. I never wished for it to end, and though it did eventually, I know I will never ever forget this surreal moment I had with the person I love the most.

It truly felt like the world slowed down for a moment. I wasn't aware of my surroundings anymore - not the noise, the laughter, the people - no, just (Y/N). Just her and her magical embrace.

"Come on, let's go inside," she says to me. She held my hand and started running towards Lumiose Park.

That second, I was so sure I felt like I was on top of the world.

I wanna follow where she goes
I think about her and she knows it

"Come on!"

"All right, all right!"

We ran through the stalls like there was no tomorrow, played games as if we were kids again, laughed until we couldn't breath, and forgot about everything and just have fun.

She pulls me in enough

And start confessing
Confessing, yeah

We hugged each other again and ran everywhere we could go to, our hands always intertwined. At this point, people stopped whatever they were doing and looked and watched us, but we could care less. All that mattered to us now was that we were together again in each other's arms, and that alone is enough to make us happy.

I lay my head on top of hers and whispered something to while she smiled widely at me.

"You just keep getting more and more beautiful, don't you?"

As we catch our breaths and sat down, the two of us looked up into the night sky and watched as the colorful fireworks exploded.

She pulled me in, and for a couple of seconds, we stared into each other's eyes before her soft lips met mine just as another set of fireworks went up the sky.

And suddenly, all I could feel was her. Not the people, not the fireworks - just (Y/N). My (Y/N).

"Did I ever tell you how much I love you?" I say. "Because I really, really love you."

She blushed and smiled warmly. "Well, guess what?" It took me by surprise when she placed her lips on mine again. "I love you more. More than anything in this world, Ash." She said as we pulled away.
