Hello, my name is Angel White. I just turned 18 last week just as school ended and I graduated. I graduated high school at the very top of my class. I had a perfect GPA and was named valedictorian. This made me very happy because now I'm one step closer to achieving my dream. But I have a problem.

My parents have disowned me.

You see I've always been the tomboy type. I hate lace and frills and bows and makeup and I can go on and on believe me! I always thought I should of been born a boy and sometimes I pretend to be a boy.

Anyways because of this I've always wondered about my sexuality. The truth is.....I'm not drawn to either. I don't like guys or girls. It drives me crazy because the one thing I really do want is love. I want to love and be loved and not just sexually. I really don't have a sex drive and I always found it strange.

While other kids my age were talking about their sex lives and how hot this person is and blah blah blah I just sat there like....."I like anime?" And they would look at me like I'm crazy.

So I eventually decided to come out to my parents as a neutral person. I don't like any gender and I'd probably be alone for the rest of my life.

Needless to say they didn't take it well. They ranted and raved about me needing to grow up and make a decision because they wanted to be grandparents one day and how I'm acting so dumb for someone that's so smart.

Finally after hours of arguing they said something I will never forget.

"We disown you. From this day on we don't know you and don't want you." My dad said it and my mom agreed. It broke my heart and made me vow to never fall in love. Ever. It just leads to pain.

I packed up and left the next day. They didn't even say goodbye.

I rented a room and got a job and started applying to schools for a scholarship. One school in particular stood out and it was my first choice: Fairy Tail Boarding School.

They were very strict and very well known. Any and every student they accepted was a guaranteed success. The reason why was simple: they loved and supported each other like family. Anything you wanted or needed was right there for you and was provided to you.

The kids with scholarships were extremely lucky. They had everything provided to them free of charge in exchange for a higher school reputation.

You succeed and they succeed. Easy as that.

I spent the summer working and just, existing. Until the day I got the email I've been waiting for.

Fairy Tail Boarding School has accepted me and granted me a scholarship. The email said to contact them right away. So I did. They asked for a immediate audience with me and I rushed over.

I took a taxi over there and ran inside.

"Excuse me miss? I'm here to see the headmaster."
I say out of breath

"Name?" The receptionist replies without looking at me.

"Angel White."

She then looks up and her eyes grow large "oh miss white! Yes he's expecting you! Please do go in his office is right there." She said while pointing at a door just across the room.

"Thank you." I tell her and walk to the door. I knock and hear a loud "come in!" From the room. I open the door and see a very very short man sitting on a chair at a large desk.

"Excuse me headmaster my name is Angel White. I received your email and..."

"Say no more. I was hoping to see you sooner rather than later. Please take a seat but close the door first."
He says and hops down from his chair. Literally.
